Because people in a cult follow their leaders wishes to the T. No matter how stupid? Just a guess.

Link?
EDIT
Here is the article. Scroll down about 1/3 of the way for a chart.
Is easy to forget that so many people on this forum are so very young, and that they think that anything more than four years ago was ancient history.

Ballot harvesting.
What should be explained is why Republicans aren’t doing it too. Yes, it’s harder because the base is more spread out but tough shite

I think it’s silly to assume people listen that much to what their politicians tel them to do on the right
Also I must have my head in the sand because I hardly if at all hear them saying don’t vote by mail
How can we still be asking this question?

I got an absentee ballot in a red state over the phone this year. That’s a problem.

They tapped into the eligible votes that were too lazy and/or lacked interest in voting and never would go to the polling station to vote. The army of Dem operatives have flooded the streets and brought the voting booth to their doorstep.

5. Democrats figured out they could fabricate thousands of votes in certain areas to ensure they gain power.

Your link doesn’t support your claim. R have utilized mail in voting pretty consistently over last 12 years, rising slightly and then staying flat. It should have dropped precipitously if they were listening to Trump, it didn’t. At all. What did change however was a massive rise in mail in ballots by the blue team over last few elections. Hmmmm
Not surprisingly both you and the article want to deflect and suggest the change is due to Trump when obviously the data doesn’t support that conclusion.

Because we tell our base not to trust it and Dem's encourage theirs to use it. It is the simplest way to get votes and we discourage it for whatever reason.

It’s called cheating.

Because it’s the dead vote

Republicans telling their constituents that vote by mail is bad
It is. Republicans will never win that fight. They don't have the machine built to go into the bad parts of metros with free money, booze, cell phones or whatever and collect signatures. It's an inherently corrupt process and should absolutely be outlawed, but we are an inherently corrupt country so it won't.

Its not "inherently corrupt". It can be done properly and securely. The State of Washington is 100% vote by mail, and they find their election results more secure and reliable than in person voting.
But. Washington took decades to develop and refine its mail in process, and did not become 100% mail in until a few years ago. They did have a few hiccups along the way.
Interesting, it was the Republicans in Washington who pushed the mail in initiatives. The GOP pushed to expand mail in votes in the 90s. Then, after losing a hotly contested gubernatorial race in 2005, the GOP pushed for universal mail in on the grounds that counting both mail in ballots and in person ballots left too much room for error.
The problem in 2020 was that States were trying to jump into massive mail in voting without experience. They just expanded their existing absentee ballot system. States need to implement it slowly, like Washington did, and work out the security issues.

Mail-In is bad because it's ripe for corruption, but the real problem is ballot harvesting. There is nothing NOT corrupt about that liberal strategy.

Not "early" voting, but "mail-in" voting. Mail-in is a form of early voting but so too is showing up in person at an early voting location and casting your ballot.
As mentioned earlier, the key is ballot harvesting. Someone going around canvasing to gather ballots has far more opportunity to influence voters (whether by answering whom/what they should vote for or simply filling out the ballot themselves) than what's available when people show up in person to vote.
Anyone who doesn't see this is purposely trying to not see it.

The better question is this: why do Democrats fight tooth and nail to NOT allow the purging of voter rolls?
Purging, of course, means eliminating people who have died, lost their eligibility (convicted of felony usually), or moved away.
There are tens of thousands of ineligible voters on the rolls throughout the country.
