Correct. How could OP have tried to paint this as pro-Trump. Low information voter I guess
The anti Americans lost and the pro Americans won.
Pretty simple. Don’t think too hard.

The party that won is heavily in favor of close ties to the EU and rejected any American overtures.

The party that one is completely against joining the US so not sure how that is a win
It’s an important first step to becoming a US Territory.

The OP presenting this as some win for Trump is the very definition of fake news.
The fact that the vote says pro trump or pro US is the very definition of fake posting. Congrats for defining yourself as a fraud.

Only fitting that Greenland is where the true first discoverer of America was raised.

You're not thinking at all. Greenland wants autonomy, while still taking advantage of all of Denmarks socialist safety nets. Something they would never get from the US.

Yep, either keep sucking the tit of a euro, or transform your country into something that will raise the wealth of everyone there substantially.

Would be cool if we could turn it in to our ow.mn little penal colony like Australia was and open up a Siberian style goulag for Schiff and co.

Down votes can suck it. They would be much better off being independent and negotiating long term, i.e., solid increases in percentage of return on mineral rights, protection of eco-systems, and free crawfish thrice a year.

Denmark wanted to put the franchise tag on Greenland, but now they will watch Greenland walk for nothing as Greenland enters the transfer portal / unrestricted free agency.

Eh the Dems aren’t going to vote for annexation so it isn’t going to happen

Politico?

You'd be taken more seriously if you just said Trump is a big fat meany pants.

They are now faced with the real issues.. do they attempt to remain a sovereign nation or do they revert to someone else’s territory. Personally don’t see how hey can go it alone without someone stepping in
The reason Greenland is in the news is because their access to minerals is worth a fortune. Every single Greenlander can be wealthy like the House of Saud. Why would they join another nation? Well, for protection. Will the US protect them for free?
If I was a Greenlander I would advocate for staying independent and giving the US sweetheart deals that incentivize the US to protect Greenland. That’s the smart play.

Correct me if I'm wrong, being that you are more informed than others, but my understanding is that the winning coalition is pro independence.
If this is correct, they're going to look for the best deal when partnering with another country.
Considering their options, a rational conclusion can be drawn that the US is able to offer more than anybody else.
Regardless how you and the main stream media spin it, it seems to me Trump keeps on winning.
