Would like to see what the chart looks like updated through the end of March, nothing before the sharp decline from week 10 to 11 looks out of the ordinary.

In fairness, this is what happens with our flu deaths on a yearly basis as well. A significant portion of yearly deaths attributed to the flu were not confirmed.

Nobody seems all that interested in comparing year over year total death rates for the same period of time. That will tell the tale.

Yeah, it’s called social isolation. Grandma can’t catch pneumonia if she is stuck inside away from typical sources of infection. This board is a great case study on confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance.

We don't know how many total people died from March 15 (or pick your date) up to April 8 yearly for the past 50 years? Seems like we should be keeping up with that.
