Ummmm nooo! Tell me exactly how many congressmen, USSCJ, or POTUS have sworn in on anything but a bible? I’m honestly curious, maybe some Jews and Muslims use the holy book of their religious background, all good. Specifically USSCJ and POTUS? Please tell me.

When taking their Oath of Office, John Quincy Adams used a law book, and Teddy Roosevelt did not use any book. There is no requirement to use any book when taking the oath of office. Why are you not understanding this?

Please elucidate us on the inspirational text inside "Green Eggs and Ham" that has given rise to the only supreme world superpower to have ever existed.

Deprogamming this generation is definitely going to be a struggle for useful people.

What part of there is no requirement to use any kind of book in taking an oath of office do you not understand?

My question is, why are progressives so opposed the morality and the values that has built the greatest society on earth? Beyond that, you can look at every first world nation. All are founded on the 10 commandments!

Please cite in law in the United States that you cannot covet your neighbor's wife, acknowledge a God, not work on Sunday, take the name of the Lord in vain, etc...

You think a country founded on the Ten Commandments would do a better job of having all the commandments as law.... Maybe 4 out of 10 are law in our legal system

Are you aware that Japan, Turkey and South Korea are first world countries? Are those countries founded on the Ten Commandments?

You are avoiding the question. So out of the history of our republic, there have been 2 examples? Yet, you proclaim we are not a Christian nation? Interesting.

Edit to add that: he was sworn in on the fly after an assassination, who had a follow up ceremony with the Bible, then in each reelection, used the Bible. Are you kidding?!?! You are so dishonest!

Yeah I’m sure shite was better when the nation was totally Christian like when we used manifest destiny to genocide the Natives or burned women alive because religious paranoia made people believe in witches. Much better back then

Respecting the constitution is now crying. This is why the majority of people aren’t conservatives. Full of shite and only want to actually care about the constitution or small government when it suits their own personal beliefs.

Libertarians maybe be pretty whacky at times but at least they’re pretty damn consistent with their small government approach

Will this measure lower the high crime rate in the state?

Considering there are signs all over New Orleans that say “Thou shalt not kill,” it doesn’t look promising.

Turkey is definitely molded by the 10 commandments. They stem from Abraham, Moses. Have you ever been to South Korea? Probably not, HUGE Christian population. BTW, SK and Japan have molded their government like our government, ya know, our Christian form of a republic, or as your progressives would like to say, a democracy. You are clueless.

I could really give a shite what you believe in, live your own life. But to deny reality, I have to object. I guess you think men can get pregnant too huh? DUMB!

Beyond that, two of your examples are not even considered first world loser.

He has no concern about a lawsuit being filed on this, because taxpayers are going to foot the bill for this.

The way that he’s pissing off pro-business conservatives, while simultaneously licking the taint of trial lawyers and the hard right Freedom Caucus folks in the House on this law is something to behold.

How about if we just divide up the good versus bad folk based on the 8th commandment. It's about as nonsectarian as you can get. Practical as all hell. Been around for 2500-3000 years. I think even Hammurabi included it in his list. It's especially important as we go into the election season. Having Biden's press person address the use of the 8th commandment would be funny .

Simply "Do not bear false witness". Don't lie!

Maybe our up down voting is a crude adaption of the 8th commandment

Nearly half of S. Korea does not participate in religion, followers of Christianity slighty outpace those of the Buddhist.

Christian form of republic? Our law expressly forbids gov. endorsement of religion, you'd like a religious gov. would require religious adherence.

I see you conveniently avoided this section of my post...Why's that? If Turkey is "molded" on the ten commandments why don't you post their laws that mirror those found in the ten commandments

Nice attempt at a distraction to something irrelevant to topic at hand.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." Known as the establishment clause, the opening lines of the First Amendment ...

quote:

It’s a myth. Nowhere in the constitution or anywhere else. Something you invented in your stupid brain

It may be philisophical, but the concept is deeply rooted in the establishment clause...
Looks like you may be the one with the stupid brain..

So this really isn't about the 10 Commandments. It's about owning the other side.
