Perhaps you are familiar with the Gini Coefficient? It is more-or-less the standard measure of income inequity. By all measures, the Gini Coefficient increased under Obama. In fact, I don't believe there was a single year during past administrations in which the Gini was higher than in ANY year of the Obama tenure. W's highest Gini numbers only reached levels of Obama's lowest.

This has been the DEM platform for at least 5 decades now. The last time they had an original idea they started the Civil War.

So odd that Trump's populist pitch to the workers of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin et al was just a con job.
Is this an English-language sentence?
In any case, we are blessed to have you here to educate us on the finer points of macroeconomics. Your post is Nobel material. Thank you.

Dem talking points-word for word-sorry but it’s not true, wages up, taxes down, y’all can repeat the talking points over and over but thing is, people know they have more money in their pockets and y’all can’t spin that fact. Joke’s on you fool.

I got a nice bump in take home pay.

Not one poll of Americans on their economic outlook or unemployment figures support your claim. As the liberal hissy fit continues... The mid-terms are going to be fricking glorious. I can't wait to see how the liberals are going to spin it when they get their asses handed to them again.

Just by reading the title I was absolutely 1000% sure this was going to be about Kasich running against Trump in 2020.

Once people exit the job market, it can be hard for them to re enter it.
I’m sure at least part of what happened was premature retirement of older workers and another part was people being put on SSDI.
Older workers are unlikely to come back unless the economy is roaring so much that it is worth their while to work rather than retire.
SSDI recipients are highly unlikely to return to work unless they get tossed off the rolls. That whole program is rife with corruption and needs to have a chainsaw taken to it.

How dare the OP say something which is not 100% in line with the right wing orthodox position. Other ideas and opinions will not be tolerated. Down vote. “You are dumb.” “Worse post of the year.”
