Why the hell would anyone be concerned about 2200? I have it directly from the horses mouth (AOC) that all humans will be dead by 2029 due to climate change.

You best start spending all those saving while you can. Take out loans. It won't matter after you're dead. Live it up people.

Why did they start counting “global warming” in the early 1880s, when the earth cooled to its lowest point in 1000 years?

You know

You let us know when all the wealthy elite start selling out, or are unable to get insurance for their homes, okay? I would post a picture of Plymouth Rock, which illustrates that water levels haven't changed measurably in about 400 years, but facts be damned in this discussion.

This is like telling someone in 1850 (if their was an ounce of truth to it) to loose sleep over what's gonna happen in 2025. They would've put you in a physic ward.

We might believe some of this if the "climate scientists" hadnt gotten caught fudging their numbers to make the data line up with their claims.

If I were a serious prognosticator of global temperatures, solar flux is a MUCH better predicator of earthly temperature than CO2 concentrations.

Yes, yes but what you aren't taking into account is we can't tax the sun, yet.

I get that.

But just an fyi, if we reduce the CO2 concentration to 200 ppm, keep everything else the same especially solar flux, we can reduce the average earthly temperature by 0.02 degrees F.

Below 200 ppm and plants start to die and then we die.

So, if the global average temperature is 57 degrees F and we reduce the concentration of CO2 from 415 to 200 ppm the new global temperature will be 56.98 degree F and we get the added benefit of starving ourselves.

So, you're saying we will end global warming and obesity? Seems like a win-win

rising sea levels due to melting ice would force people to flee coastal cities as a result of flooding.

Also under such a scenario, intense extreme weather events such as drought, heatwaves, wildfires, tropical storms and flooding would be common.

Especially in the summer, temperatures could reach dangerously high levels, posing a lethal threat to the people of all ages.

Have been hearing this since the 90's

Fact: No solution to the warming “problem” has ever been proposed that would alter the Earth’s temperature in a meaningful way, much less do so without causing extreme hardships, likely worse than the effects of the warming itself.

I remember the "Acid Rain" too...

That's actually an environmental success story. Acidification of lakes has reversed since sulfur emissions have been reduced.

How can anyone doubt this? It was 65 degrees F when I woke up. Now, just five hours later, it’s 75 degrees. We can’t go on like this!!!!

Looks to me like the earth is coming out of an ice age and getting back to normal.
Perhaps we could surmise that ..... if we understood WTF caused our current ice age in the first place. Yet, IAW current geocentric "scientific" thought, cyclical cowfarts and volcanoes were causative. Stupid is far too kind a term in reference to present day climatology.
