Removing an AM radio will remove conservative content.
I am a believer there are actions being taken to actively/slowly silence anything right of center, but this isn't it.
Anything being broadcast on AM radio should easily be accessible via an app on your phone that you can blue tooth to your car.

Sure, and you can catch local tv with an external antenna, but it’s not as convenient

Like when 0bama got the "tanning bed tax" and people didn't want to believe it was designed to kinda piss it white people's Cheerios. "No, I mean... I guess it makes sense... I mean, tanning beds are bad for you... right?" But if Trump passed a fried chicken tax, all Hell would break loose.

Also, my 2021 car has AM radio.
The market and demand changes - that's capitalism, baby.
There is no such thing as capitalism
Crony capitalism, yes.
Explain the government’s push for electric vehicles
When there is no net gain for the environment
And Toyota is working feverishly to develope hydrogen powered engines that emit water vapor out of the exhaust systems
When will our government demand hydrogen vehicles
They won’t

So pushing a few buttons on your phone is SOOOO much more inconvenient than pushing a few buttons on your car's radio?
There's plenty to be upset about in this world. AM radio isn't one of them.

Yes

I thought it was only Ford who is not putting AM radios in their cars.

Which older people can't do
I mean, if you can't adapt to something as simple as learning to use a cell phone, then I don't know what to tell you. Not to mention, if an "older" person can buy a brand new car with all the gadgets that come with it, then surely they can learn to operate blue tooth.

they know others won't do
Then that's on them. If the information being provided on AM radio is THAT important to someone, they will learn something as simple as blue tooth.
For the record, I don't care if AM radio is or isn't in vehicles. I just don't understand the outrage over it like there's not a simple 10 second solution for it not being included in a vehicle.

And people could also look up the content of those banned on Twitter some other way, right?

The information on AM radio is easily accessible elsewhere. Just because it's not available on one specific platform doesn't mean it's not available on many others.

I listed reasons earlier why the traditional model is far superior. If you're of the mindset that we should make people have to work a bit more to get info from outside the mainstream, then don't be surprised when we lose more elections.
No one is "outraged," no one is picketing. We're just pointing out what's going on and you guys are doing the typical Republican "that's not the hill to die on" routine that cedes more and more ground every damn time.

Look back in the thread and see my earlier post. I quickly found 3 links confirming what Beck said about it.

Your link said Ford. Beck said "all."

Only one link did. The other stories said many. It’s easy enough to google the story to see it’s factual.

Do you dispute manufacturers are eliminating AM radio in the future?
Also, who the frick cares. You sound like a whiny Gen Z trans.

Of course, you prog filth don't believe in the free market and make all kinds of excuses to be lazy or just not think. Seems to me you want your arse to be pampered.
Couple in the fact you're not very bright as to why you have to resort to lame insults. Not even clever ones too. Pretty sure I've heard that super-size joke when I was a teenager.
Sad.

It’s weird how different people care about different things and at different levels? It’s almost like we are individuals. Strange huh?

A bit dramatic.
They're discontinuing AM radio on some new vehicles. AM radio still exists, the content that AM radio produces can be found on numerous different plat forms. The notion that having to use your phone to hear the EXACT SAME INFORMATION through the EXACT SAME CAR STEREO SYSTEM is a conspiracy to silence conservatives is beyond ridiculous.

"work a bit more"... you literally just have to pull out your phone.

The stance that's being taken in this thread is why no one takes conservatives seriously.
I hold mostly conservative viewpoints, but right leaning folks cry wolf entirely too much.
