Is it a tax law question? That's what I do.
Well I got about a million of those!
It was something about these current political topics, I'll try to find it.

So do you think there should be an investigation into collusion?
quote:There is no leak with Comey. Get over it. Even if you thought it was illegal there would be no investigation since there is no dispute on facts.
Is that basis greater than an admitted leaker being investigated for leaking?

Ok. My rate on tax law is 500 an hour. My rate on trump is free. If you can combine the two we can work out a deal!!

There is no leak with Comey? He admitted to leaking. You support an investigation into a collusion claim when the ic and the FBI director has said there wasn't any collusion. When Diane friecking Feinstein said here wasn't any collusion. Yet you say that should be looked at over someone who has admitted to leaking?
I am not talking about legality. Collusion isn't illegal. Leaking may or may not be. You want an investigation into collusion with zero evidence so you can "turn over all the rocks". However an investigation into an admitted leaker isn't warranted?
Am I hearing you correctly???
Shame.

Same thing applies to anonymous sources. If the info is favorable, they're fine. I just think we need to all come to a consensus, and I'll abide by it. I do believe
I'm not principled enough to take a hard stance. I like to judge on case by case. If I think they help, good. If I think they are bad, then they are.

Comey didn't share anything he didn't have the rights to.
Maybe Comey wasn't the only one with "rights" in this case.

Uhhh, Comey described the leak himself!
James Comey admits he leaked to a friend

How many rocks do you need to turn over 360 or twice 720 plus degrees until you are satisfied? Or is this a crime in your eyes and enough rocks will need to be turned over until you find a criminal to fit the crime?

Thank you. I am so confused. Comey isn't a leaker (even though he admitted leaking). Trump colluded (even though the ic the FBI director and Dianne Feinstein said he didn't).

What's illegal about leaking his own unclassified notes?
They aren't his, they belong to the FBI as work product.
Now that doesn't mean that leaking them is illegal, that would need more investigating then I have done on the subject at this point, but there is zero doubt that the memos do NOT belong to James Comey, that's just the way it works in government service.
And also, the WH is making the point that if he leaked this, what else did he leak as FBI Director?

He's been a prosecutor for years and he went through his law professor friend. I'm pretty sure that they would make sure that no crime was committed beforehand.
Guess everyone here has a law degree though.

I have a law degree , and was a criminal investigator for my entire career. You don't think lawyers make mistakes OR intentionally violate the law?

This is a ridiculous PR move by Trump. Saying that he will sue does play well with his simpleton base, like when he said he would sue the NYT. But if he pushes this forward, it's gonna backfire big time.
