Genuine question. How many folks around these parts believe Trump now has it in the bag?

I don't normally start threads on this board, but really I'd like to know your opinions and what has formed them. I'm genuinely interested. Also, if you believe he'll win. What's your confidence level on a scale of 1 to 10?
Before the debate, I gave Trump no meaningful chance at all but now, I've got a confidence level of around 4 that he can win. This is the wackiest election cycle in our lifetime and I'm hesitant now to make a solid prediction on the outcome.

The cheating network is still operational, especially the parts that involve Obama's transformed USPS.
If it was honest, yes, but it won't be honest.

Depends on the level of cheating. In an honest election, Trump would win at least 49 states.

Ok. If you can, try and take cheating off the table for a moment. In the absence of cheating, what are your thoughts?

See above.

I’ll put it to you like this. Both in 2016 and 2020, there was not a single major poll that had Trump leading. Just about every one of those polls now have him up by 5+ nationally against the same guy that beat him 4 years ago. It’s his election to lose.

I’ll give him a 5 right now. Things are looking good. I’m cautiously optimistic.
We are up against a lot of low information voters like my MiL. She leans conservative on policies like protecting the border, not starting wars, and pro freedom of speech, but she believes AR-15s are fully automatic and doesn’t like Trump because he’s a meanie.
We are also up against the Democrat cheating.

Lol, it is absolutely not in the bag. The democrats can select a new candidate and be off to the races in 2 weeks. Name recognition doesn't matter. No one voted for Biden last time, they voted against Trump. Trump could commit some gaffe and implode with wine moms. 4 months is an eternity.
It only looks so hopeful at the moment because the media is in dissaray. They will regroup and coalesce around a new narrative.

Don't see how Biden can win, so against him, I feel good. Against Kamala/Gavin/Whitmer/player to be named later WITH the MSM behind them, who knows.
Dims have worn out "unprecedented," but we are in truly unprecedented times. Don't get complacent.

People I talk to feel like Michelle Obama will win if she enters the race
I think Trump can beat her, but she will be far more formidable than Biden
“in the bag” - not with the cheating machine, but I do think he can win

As we’ve seen over the past few months… nothing is ever in the bag with politics. Trump is the front runner and has the momentum at the moment.

I’ll believe it when i see msnbc concede. One thing Trump and company need to be doing is pointing out exactly how they will cheat. Where it will happen also. I think part of the reason the debate moderators were fair was right wing brought up all the stuff Bash and Tapper had said about Trump in the past. If forced their hand.

Fair enough and you may be right. Tell me, do you think he's finally listening to people who are advising him (he seems to be) or do you think he'll frick it up in some way? He seems to be exercising some muzzle discipline right now.

Anyone who believes that would be a damned fool especially after all the events of these past few years.
I think most are hopeful and optimistic but not taking anything for granted.

It would be 1984 Reagan v Mondale without cheating. This feels like 2000 Bush v Gore right now.

I generally agree with all of those points. We won't forget the debate and it's ramifications but as soon as the MSM and social media has an opportunity to get off its heels and recalibrate around a new candidate, they will.
I don't think we've seen yet the full power of all forms of media and how that media will be weaponized.

Likely a guaranteed win against Biden. The MSM and his own Party has so thoroughly shite all over him, that there's now no going back. But against someone else? Game on for sure.

Nobody can say that because of the potential to steal the thing the Dems have and their willingness to risk everything to do it.
But, I can say he's way ahead right now very confidently.
