France’s Justice Minister has called for a sweeping three-year halt to immigration, warning that the country has reached a breaking point after decades of mass migration.
Gérald Darmanin, a senior figure in President Emmanuel Macron’s government and a likely contender in next year’s presidential election, said France no longer has the capacity to properly integrate new arrivals.
“We have reached the limit of our capacities for integration and assimilation,” Darmanin said in an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche.

A recent study by France’s National Institute of Demographic Studies found that by 2020, roughly one in three people in France were either immigrants or the children of immigrants.
Polling also suggests, as in the United States, that migration policy can significantly reshape electoral politics.
An Ifop survey found that 40 percent of voters with two non-European parents intend to back far-left candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon, with that figure rising to 51 percent among Muslim voters.

In reality what this really means is they want to stay in power and now they can call for the stoppage of immigration now that critical mass has been reached and enough of the enemy is already in France to over time finish off the country.

It’s wild that Europe is in peacetime, 80 years removed from WWII, and the future of Europe is as bleak as it was in the late 1930s.

Except that then, even as terribly shaken as Europe was by the First World War, there were still men hard enough to do what had to be done: defeat Nazism and then face down Communism. The continent is spent all these years later (Europeans are literally dying out) and they’re not facing secular threats of recent vintage such as Marxist revolutionaries or blood-and-soil nonsense, they’re facing a 1,400 year old religious-intellectual tradition (bound up to large degree with ethnicity/race, which makes it even more powerful) that is far, far more vital than they.

Both are over 70% ethnic French/German. Both are about 20% muzzie.
The US is about 54% white non-hispanic, 20% hispanic, 13% black.
Admittedly, the muzzies are the biggest problem, but if they shut down immigration they have a solid chance at assimilating the muzzies faster than the muzzies are outbreeding them.
