You don’t think a man has had plenty of opportunities to reign in his wife by the time she’s spewing shite like that online?
He may not be chronically online and could be unaware of whatever she's posting.
See something, say something, okay... if it's a good dude, he probably could have given him a heads up before, or in tandem with, reporting.

Daggum dude, did you even try reaching out to your former neighbor that even you said was a good dude?
And if the husband is okay with it (the act of posting, agrees with the content or both), that's an excellent way to let him know the OP was the one who sent the info in.
If there's nothing there (someone hacked wife's account and is posting that tripe because she stopped using social media at some point, for example) then they are in the best position to not only determine that but to possibly track the hacker.

OP needs to show some proof or I'm calling BS.

We don't know that... OP hasn't posted any particulars.
It’s the premise of the question that there is very concerning info being posted by the wife of a SSA.
Obviously, that may be untrue.
I’m answering the question of what should be done under the assumption it is true.
So were you…until you realized your response was wrong and tried to change the subject.

I stand by my response.

The “good dude” would be the threat because of his position. It should be reported.

Maybe tel the SSA to reign in his wife- maybe he is unaware of her digital footprint.
I find it hard to believe the SS doesn't know exactly what is going on in the social media within the household of those allowed to have a gun within feet of the president?

I didn't consider that... it'd be interesting to know just how close an eye the agency keeps on longer term, settled employees.

Do your duty
Do you feel comfortable living next to someone who celebrates murder?
Do your kids play with their kids?

He very well could be compromised too. Would you like him to completely wipe history as he would know to hide

My worry is the agent agrees too. We already know this week there are secret service members that were happy Kirk died.
The more I read these things the more the Butler incident makes sense.

He knows what she thinks. She has told him what she thinks. He’s trying to ignore it.

Oh the irony. Give the left the grace and understanding that they never give to conservatives. I mean they never give us an inch of understanding on anything. I’m not saying you are totally wrong, it’s just ironic.

Honestly the concern isn’t that she’s posting and needs to take it down - it’s that she wants right wing politicians dead and may have access to valuable information
That’s way more than a “maybe check tell your wife to tone it done online so you don’t get in trouble” phone call

Maybe Pete Hegseth, he likes to involve his family in government business.

If that’s the concern then I’d report it. No need to drag it out. Send it to the Secret Service or wherever the appropriate agency would be.
