Naw. Bruce has some amazing songs. I couldn’t give a shite about his life, though
Ding, ding, ding.

We have a winner.

I cannot imagine how miserable the OP must be, to let his political views dominate every other aspect of life.

Never really could get into his music but I do like his cover of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Clarence Clemons doing the Ho-Ho-Ho is hilarious.

Odd that Disney didn’t portray Springsteen as a POC or gay.

To each their own. I don’t like his music regardless of his political views.

First off the music sucks.

Second, I never asked for Bruce’s political views. He decided to freely share them.

Third, he’s a billionaire. He doesn’t give a flying frick about the working man

That and his story just isn’t that interesting. Just because somebody was a popular musician doesn’t mean their life would make a good movie.

The Doors are not everyone’s cup of tea music wise (I personally enjoy them) but it made for an interesting movie because Jim Morrison was a wackadoo.

I’m still holding out hope that one we’ll get a movie called Simple Man about Ronnie Van Zant and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to a movie about him. He's 76 years old, only old people would watch it and old people don't go to movie theaters.

It's not just politics. I doubt it I'm the only MAGA guy around here who reveres Willie Nelson while fully aware of his politics. Springsteen is a douche but a Willie Nelson movie would be fun.

Springsteen isn't interesting, and neither are "movies about musicians".
Put the two together and, well...

You may already be aware, but it's actually "deuce". Manfred Mann changed it to douche in their cover, which is much better than Bruce's original.

Seems like Springsteen got pretty quiet leading up to the release. Guess he safe to start running his mouth again since it won’t hurt him at the box office any worse than it already has

Did you see the clips of the musical parts? Worst lip syncing/dubbing I’ve ever seen in a big budget production. It’s comical how awkward it is.
