My dad was a prosecuting attorney and ran pretty deep in Louisiana political circles. He ran into Dutch Morial right after he won election for mayor of New Orleans by happenstance outside the federal courthouse in NOLA. I wish I could quote what he told my dad that day but it is a bannable offense on this site. But the quote from Dutch involves taking over New Orleans and using the "n" word. I asked my dad how he responded and he just said "congratulations".

They are corrupt and untrustworthy . When they go after one of “the favored”, it is with a purpose. Either they got too big for their britches and stopped following orders, or they want someone else in the job that is more useful.
