This may be a Brit stirring the pot. You don’t typically see USA folks using “shops” instead of “stores.” (Or, I just may not know the vernacular)

they would drown in the private sector

Current fed employee and I also have no sympathy for them!

I wonder how many don't actually exists? It'd be easy to do with a few people involved, especially higher ups. Create work from home jobs, and profit.

They will meal prep and bring their own coffee for like three weeks and then that will be it. Or they’ll quit which would be best case scenario.

Kind of ironic that DCFAN_23 doesn’t want to go back to the office for a govt job

Is it that difficult for Federal employees in DC to actually get up and go to work Mon-Friday in their office like most Americans.

Agree. And that 500k home now cost 750k lol

What's the job market look like for someone with 15 years of DEI skills?

No, and many of them do/did prior to COVID

Is this a serious question?

Not true. Know a couple Feds that are going to go work for the state or CNO.

For those who do quit, it's going to be a shock when they discover their Social Security Benefits deductions AND what a real medical plan costs. Their Federal benefits costs are nothing like the rest of America pays.

Like spoiled petulant children. Lying on the floor at the supermarket check-out line kicking their legs and screaming “No”.

Will the ghost vans Clay Higgins showed LIVE in a hearing ever come out again?
The republicans and democrats shut him off of speaking of state secret corruption.
Wray is probably in a mansion; getting a gig where Roddy Rosenstein got a gig, in the poshest lawyer firm in DC.
