What kind of elevated security do you think a handwritten date provides?

A layer of authenticity that can be used to verify a genuine vote

The more layers you remove the easier it is to cheat in a mail-in ballot scheme

Mail in voting should not exist, in fact, early voting should not exist. You vote on Election Day, the only exception is absentee voting for deployed military personnel. Within in 5 minutes of the poll closing we should know the results of the entire state’s voting results. I see no other way to prevent a plethora of opportunities for voter fraud.

So the ballots are received before the election but they’re not supposed to be counted because the person didn’t date them?

Yeah, in the old days it was called rules.

Honestly I could be okay with this IF the ballots had a postage stamp before the mail in deadline, and the signatures matched. If they forgot to put a date on the ballot, that would be the least of my concerns. If they were submitted late, or had a non-matching signature, and still counted, that would be a problem.

I'm sorta in this camp also.

although I am really for running an election or two with the old rules - in person voting on ONE DAY - with valid ID and signature matching.

Exceptions for absentee would have to be highly scrutinized and limited to actual disabilities or unavoidable circumstances - like overseas military duty (which Democrats have always been SUPER SUSPICIOUS of - looking for any reason to disqualify them).

NO EARLY VOTING for conveniency sake!

Make Election Day a Federal holiday with polls open midnight to midnight.

Playing devils advocate here, but the USPS stamp has the date received by them on it. Not that they couldn’t steal a stamp or twelve to make this work.

A whistle-blower in Detroit that worked for the post office said he was ordered to back date ballots. I heard his testimony live and now I can't find it anywhere. Scrubbed from the web I am sure.

in Pennsylvania, they can be received up to three days after the election, no signature, no date, and no post mark.

2 days after the election:

“Oh look. Here’s 600,000 undated ballots. And surprise, surprise, they’re all for Joe Biden.”

Too hard for 'some' to follow simple, explicit instructions or risk their ballot being invalid.

Why are rules so hard for the Left to grasp?

Seems pretty cut and dried to me.

If I try to fill out a form online and miss a slot, I get the red text of death and it doesn’t let me go on until I catch what I missed.

An undated ballot is an incomplete document. Incomplete documents get tossed every day.

Why would you presume that in the face of oceans of evidence to the contrary?

So you believe the date is completely superfluous? There is no reason to include it?

At some point, these imbecilic judges will either conclude that the importance of integrity must take priority over accomodations for presumed incompetence, or they're going to get that fact rammed down their throats.

Perception of national electoral integrity is even more important than actual integrity with general presumption of graft. Anything undercutting the public trust of elections is a danger to Democracy. These Judges are doing just that under the guise of helping.

Votes versus Ballots …..That’s what harvesting is all about.

Once they have the list compiled of eligible voters …. Voters who have not voted previously, homeless people that can put in a shelters address and sign them up for a state I.D. , collect the ballots at assisted living homes and then convert them …. they then take the info and apply it to a new ballot.

Georgia, like other states, has a searchable database on the state election site …..it will show they did vote but it does not show for who !

Once you have this large base – you can do it over and over again each election- there is no way to tell – especially if no one checks/audits every voter registration.

Again – the GA. site will show they voted ,but the individual cannot confirm for who – it doesn’t show that … so if someone changed it with ballot harvesting and they have several weeks to get it done with early voting …. it is now easy to cheat.

Not if they are harvested and stuffed in a drop box?
