That was the sort of argument Freakonomics put forward when comparing/contrasting China vs USA corruption. Ours is actually more codified in laws, many surrounding Lobbying.

How many physical spies does a country need in another country anymore? I know they definitely exist and should be hunted down, but a good hacker can get almost anything a spy can get with a fraction of the risk. If you count paid off politicians and gov employees as spies then the calculus on that totally changes.

Trump not firing Wray is reason enough to support DeSantis. I would give him the benefit of the doubt but he doesn't learn. He gave an exclusive interview to the New Yorker last month - the same magazine that compared him to Hitler and the KKK on multiple covers during his Presidency

I agree with you. I love Trump and it was great that he said all the things we wanted to and was basically our middle finger to the leftist dipshits and the media. He did some great things and his policies were incredible but he could have done so much more than he did. Im sure much of that was due to the weight of the entire government and every institution in America against him but he made some terrible hires that definitely handicapped his administration. I would love for him to be president again but the smart choice is to go all in on Desantis.
