Explain to me how Walmart gas in a city that has 5 locations can have 5 different prices?

Its all the same company in the same general vicinity. Why can't the price over here be the same as over there?

This is not unique to Walmart gas. Every company‘s prices are different at different locations.

Hey they're charging you the cost of replacement today and not the cost they they bought it for.
Unless of course their price to resupply goes down next week, then they have to charge the price they paid to fill their tanks.
It's pretty simple really, If you're in the business of buying and selling gasoline and diesel that is.

Because each station isn't delivered fuel at the same time. One day the delivered price might be $3.00, the next day it might be $3.10 based on the market. Then the fuel pricer will build their margin in based on the amount of the delivered fuel for the store. That gives you different prices.
Pretty simple stuff.

Location and traffic counts can affect profitability. It can cost more for them to have a filling station at one location than another.

Gas and other items are ALWAYS sold on replacement cost and never delivered cost.

There was a loon posting on here a few weeks ago that was really upset and calling it price gouging because different stations had different prices and it was really unfair that stations near the interstates were higher than the ones not near the interstate. LOL

The fact that taxes are different from city to city or parish to parish means nothing is really the same price.

Bull f'ing shite. The supplier buys millions of gallons at a determined price. So a couple days delivery is till being pulled form the same supply/price tanks.
Market fluctuations doesnt effect pre bought fuel supplies.
Basically, its an "accidental oversight" that is corrected when asked about it...or explained by erroneous statements like yours.

Actually,,,, Walmart does not operate, control, manage or profit from those gas stations. Walmart only leases the property to a third party. About 6 months ago the station at Walmart, scam labeled cases of drinking water. While checking out inside the store, a rate your service apt pops up but refuses to take comments about the gas station. Clerk sez gas station is totally different company.
