Unfortunately you couldn’t be more wrong. I could probably tell you who Murphy USA (not Wal Mart btw) buys from based on the city you live in.

The price they pay for 87e10 is most likely formula based that looks something like 90% Todays Argus Price + 10% Todays Ethanol Price - a percentage of Todays RIN price + a differential adder of usually somewhere around 5-10 cents.

The differential added is the only part of the price that stays consistent, the rest is dependent on the market.

Im 37 years old and I remember Arkansas kicking Texas arse just about every time they played in pretty much every sport..
