To be fair, legal chicanery to get moar war in the Middle East is about as American as it gets.

Epic Fury is over.

The new operation will start immediately.

This is will reset the 90 day timer that would require congress to act in support of our country.

That's pretty much what this is, but should the President be loopholing his way out of involving Congress?

Then what the heck was this about? What was even accomplished?

Here, I'll type slowly. Just for you

1) It eliminated the leadership that spent several generations targeting innocent people in an attempt to force the world to bow before Islam
2) It eliminated their ability to fund terrorism thru the use of oil to fund their terrorist networks
3) It eliminated the narco-terrorist network that supplied drugs to Venezuela in exchange for a base in the Americas, of which the proceeds from the drug sales to the US then funded terrorism against the US
4) It greatly restricted the enrichment of weapons grade uranium
5) It has weakened Chinas ability to undermine the petro-dollar and insert BRICS in its place
6) It has added a layer of protection for Taiwan, as China reels in the uncertainty of a Trump retaliation
7) It reaffirmed the supremacy of the US military not seen since the end of WWII

Not at all. I'm just asking who's tired of dancing?

What we got is
Volatile markets due to instability in the ME and how that affects every other market (so much for isolationism)
Soaring gas prices
An emboldened and dangerous Iran who now realizes they can grab the world by its nuts when they threaten Hormuz
An Iran even more motivated to gain nuclear weapons capability
A severely diminished presence and reputation with our allies (there’s that old isolationist idea going up in smoke again)
An ongoing police protection/prevarication presence because the US fricked it up and caused the whole problem (but the “war” wink wink is over)
A lot (1000?) of dead Iranians
A dozen plus dead Americans
And a self entitled douche bag who believes he deserves a peace prize for bombing a regional back to the Stone Age

Did I miss anything?

Great time to make the announcement now that the US is using the navy to ensure safe passage of merchant vessels and oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz

My guess is Trump 2.0 will give the Islamic Regime every opportunity to abandon their desires for a nuclear weapon and their funding of Islamic Terrorism and in general to behave themselves.......and if the Islamic Regime still feels the need to play the bad actor in the ME Trump 2.0 will respond appropriately.

Anywhere. Iran and Russia fold tomorrow and Linseee Graham and Johnny Bolton will be screaming about bombing Namibia or Norway or New Mexico.

It’s an industry.

The 60 day timeline to report to congress was up on epic fury. So now they rename it as a different event. Something like epic jury.
