Should we start with "Name the new states" game?

Keep one as a territory and call it Westworld.

But but but ... I thought Westworld was in an underwater bubble dome located under the Pacific ocean?

Now I'm confused.

I'd rather they put San Fran, LA, and Whale's Vagina all in the new state of California, then keep the rest the same.

I worry about Whale's Vagina keeping the proposed Southern California Democratic.

Eyeballing this it seems like it would add a red state and a blue state. Californians are underrepresented in the senate so I suppose it would be ok in at least that respect.

I don't like the way that map is divided.

Should be this:

I will have to come up with a mnemonic to help me remember that.

First attempt: Crimson Red flows from the Whale's Vagina.

Now that one would just add a red state.

This has serious implications on our flag.

On that map:

Northern Cali => Cali

Cali => Western North Mexico
Southern Cali => Eastern North Mexico

Right

You'd just be giving them more senators

Water could be the problem. Right now, SoCal gets a ton of its water under compacts with other states. If California splits, I'm not sure what would happen to that compact. I am confident that other states would like to bust it and get more of the water for themselves.

BL: A split could leave Los Angeles as a dry, dusty desert full of people dying of thirst.
