As previously stated, a large portion of MAGA are anti-American traitors hell bent on destroying America due to some perceived slight to them that is not even real

You're still living in that upside down world.

How is continuing to fund the Ukrainian dictator to conduct a war it has zero chance of winning "destroying" America??? It's definitely destroying Ukraine.

How is allowing the lil dictator and the EU to manipulate us into armed conflict with Russia helping America?

quote:However, it was our failure to participate in the League of Nations (the forerunner to the UN) in the aftermath of the First World War that ultimately led to the rise of Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany. That’s a cheap talking point we all learned in middle school but it’s simply not realistic or accurate. Absent military intervention both of those things were going to happen due to forces such as the collapse of the Weimar Republic. The UN as it exists today wouldn’t have stopped it and to do so would’ve defied the popular will of the nations involved. What would’ve stopped Hitler and the militarists in Japan would’ve been a strong US military clearly articulating from a position of strength that further expansion would mean war. International politics is natural law with a bunch of worthless ambassadors tweeting. It means nothing without the implied threat or use of force now and it wouldn’t have then either. Neither the League or UN would’ve had any substantive impact on WW2.

Nailed it. It’s really that simple

bad actors can rise and lead to the risk of global conflagrations that will kill tens of millions of people.

Will kill tens of million europeans…not our problem. Nothing in Europe is worth sacrificing a single American life or dollar. Let those back-stabbing globalist bastards defend themselves. Their version of democracy does not align with our constitutional republic anymore. They’ll either learn from their mistakes, or burn…not my problem. I’m done giving a shite about other nations. I be dammed if I’ll send my son to fight their war. I gave enough, for causes that were ultimately shite. So did my father, grandfathers, and great grandfathers. My family is out…frick Europe.

Why the Musk Melt?

Why the Musk taint licking??

People like you act like Musk is some kind MAGA OG. Like the below comment I found in another thread. This poster acts like now that musk said it, agreeing with a long standing American Right stance/want, Trump will now hopefully "listen" to Musk bc he hopped on the bandwagon. So if Trump does it, to you bootlickers it's all because of musk not the Americans that have been fighting to get us to this point.

Most people here have been saying this way before Musk was even a thought in the Trump campaign. His statement just launched the thread. Are you new?

What’s the pro vs con?

We gain next to nothing from this alliance other than a seat at the table.

Should have left the UN and kicked them out of the USA a long time ago. That is nothing but a globalist cabal of dictators and arse-kissers who depend on the USA to fund everything and constantly shite on us. frick the UN!

NATO is a different story. It is useful as long as the other countries actually uphold their end of the bargain and don't rely on us to fund/defend everything.

Of course our defense budget will not be decreased

nato countries need to up their defense budgets so they can take care of Europe

I don't find "European countries just need to rearm themselves" as a compelling reason to leave NATO in light of the fact that there would be no economic benefit to do so - and that by doing so, exposes European nations to more risk.

We greatly lessen the risk by being in, and would receive no economic benefit by being out.

Yes to both. The UN was always useless. NATO served it's purpose when Russia was actually a threat to Europe. They're not, and haven't been for quite sometime.

Or we can remain in NATO

No, we can not!! I do not want a two bit dictator like Zelensky, with the backing of the EU, dragging us into a conflict with Russia. If we can establish better relations with Russia, that will deter China. If you want to see a cluster, let's get drug into a conflict with Russia in Ukraine, Russia aligns with China and all hell breaks loose.
