I make around $125k and bought a Hybrid Pacifica last year, not a Tesla, and I only got around a $4k credit, definitely not $7500

I’m a federal employee with a little over 20 years between the military and my current job. I do what I love and have a great work life balance that allows me a lot of freedom to do what I want. Plus, I’m in the Ozarks of Missouri, I make more than enough to live comfortably here and my benefits and retirement pay is great

honestly, if Twitter had stayed with Dorsey or anyone else who didn't care about free speech, I struggle to imagine the world we would live in. Almost ALL media would be pre scrubbed. Independent Journalists would be banned from all platforms. And they wouldn't say a thing about it. and no one would care.
I honestly think Musk postponed the collapse of AMERICA... possibly the western world.
there's still 30 things bringing it down. so, absolutely, just a postponement.

Makes sense, the credit scales on battery capacity and source. Smaller battery in a hybrid means tax credit. There's no phaseout on AGI, it's just a cap, 150k for single filers, 225k for HOH and 300k for married filing jointly.
I make enough that I only qualify because I'm married filing jointly and I got the full $7,500 tax credit. Wouldn't have qualified under any other filing status.

I read an article about the build back better program to provide better internet service to rural areas.
Star link bid on the business, it was close to a billion dollars. The govt said it was not fast enough so Elon went back and retooled.....then the govt changed the specs and awarded it to local cable companies, since they were already there, even though they could not provide the specs either.
Turns out there is some lobbying group where all the rural cable companies get together to basically stop any progress that does not include them.
This combined with the govt suing him because he will not hire illegals for SpaceX, bullshite recalls on Tesla, and various other govt "violations" they are gunning for him. And the EU (at our bidding as well) with that new censorship law he must abide by (their views of what should be censored) or fork over a percentage of global revenue as a "fine".
It truly makes you wonder who is John Galt?
