The actual texts are from several (9?) days ago. The fact that Goldberg sat on them until just before a Senate hearing where Gabbard and Ratcliffe were scheduled to testify under oath raises eyebrows.
Thus why it shouldn’t be rushed. I having a feeling there may be more here like malicious compliance. Thus they need to take the time to identify who added Goldberg, who he was identified on the principles screens and once they establish who entered his contact that they go through their devices to see who else might be involved. This isn’t a 24 hour type of investigation.

Signal is the encrypted Snapchat so the messages are erased. It will take some strong decryption to recreate the thread and likely assistance from Signal itself.
