Okay, I'll bite... Please explain to me in detail how this would have worked

If the killers in Australia had access to the same weapons we have access to the death toll would have been much higher. They were using bolt action rifles…imagine if the they had a semiautomatic rifle that held 50+rounds

This year was the first mass shooting in the country in like 30 years…gun deaths are like .1 per 100,000 people.

I think they are doing gun control just fine.

These nonprofits are pretty insane

Yep. They receive MILLIONS and pay no taxes. Same with churches. Tax them all.

I was curious about the bail project bc some of their actions led directly to some really bad happenings

I’m someone of believes we need bail reform, but I’ll agree some of the people let out on bail have no business being back in society for a while.

These are some well paid MFs setting folks free

That's less than TPUSA (also a nonprofit) spends on it's leadership. Those are some well paid MFs spewing hate and sewing division among people.

I guess it's a bit less because Charlie's salary isn't on the books anymore.

nope

2017: 25,471
2021: 27,330
2025: 37,293

Turnout was the same as the last midterm election held for that district. Very high for a special election.

Dems were hoping within 10 so they can crow about a wave coming

Trump won that district by 22…Van Epps not coming close that should be a bit of a ln alarm for Rs

The difference between myself and the Rs on this board is if prominent Democrats were doing things to kids I want them locked up and held accountable. Doesn’t seem like you all feel the same about your Daddy Don.

Tim Burchett tried having Congress pass legislation to release all Epstein files this past week and Dems killed it again.

Timmy wants a unanimous consent vote. Meaning his vote would be hidden. If he really wanted to release any and all information the government had he should put his name on it and sign the discharge petition. Put his vote on the record.
quote:

The democrats don't want them coming out

Is that why every D signed the discharge petition while only 4 Rs signed it?
quote:

t’s concerning that you still need explaining at this point.

Its concerning that so many of you fell for Burchetts unanimous consent stunt. Seems like it was going nowhere from the start. If he wants the files released why not put his name on the discharge petition?

The unanimous consent would keep everyone's vote a secret. This shite needs to be on the record.

4 Rs had the balls to put their name on the discharge petition.

Johnson and team want to hide behind the "unanimous consent" bullshite. If he wants to release the files then vote on the record. same with Burchett. Put your name on the petition and make every member of congress vote on the record.

Where are you protesting tomorrow

I’ll be protesting at Tiger Stadium. Roughly the 45 yard line.

Now which party blocked the release? Last I checked every D signed the discharge petition while only 4 R signed.

If he has nothing to hide why is he meeting with members of the house in the situation room to try and get them to remove their names from the discharge petition?

Why is he not pressuring congress/fbi/doj to release all information they can about it?

I have no idea if he’s trying to hide something but some of his tweets and actions are not those of a person with nothing to hide.
