There wasnt a single adult in the room who said "maybe we shouldnt use the term 'Safe Space' when referencing an entire planet"? Because an entire planet would be really hard for that small group to maintain the safeness of every space on this planet

And there it is... the arrogance of man.
The Earth existed for billions of years before the first primate even swung from a tree. Homo sapiens are barely a blip in the history of this planet but because the climate is changing and may inconvenience (or, worst case, cause the extinction of) this species, something must be done - that frankly won't do shite.
C02 is the food for plants (and plankton) that makes the oxygen we need to survive. Yet, these fricktards insist on classifying it and regulating it as a "dangerous pollutant". The Earth's climate has always changed and will continue to do so. The poles have migrated and completely reversed multiple times. Pangea was a real thing.
Without a single internal combustion engine or factory smokestack, this planet was going to eventually become inhospitable to human life. Just as happened with countless other species.
Adapt, or perish.
In the meantime, maybe look for some other places to land.

Surrender Nationalism to the UN and the Earth will be saved. Yeah, sure. 
NO government Entity can be trusted to fix this because those who run it are flawed profiteers. They've proved themselves to be hypocrites time and again. The smartest at the top are no better than the most ignorant heathens at the bottom; albeit more guilty because of their smarts.
We should be ashamed if truly enlightened. It will take Jesus' intervention - as per the Biblical Eschatological Narrative - to save us from ourselves. IMHO.

These same people warning about the imminent demise of the planet due to human activity simultaneously flip their shite if you suggest cutting US aid to foreign countries which effectively keeps their populations higher than what they would otherwise be able to sustain themselves.
