So you are going to vote for the left because a politician used the term MAGA? It is still the same thing. feelings over logic.
For me it just a cringy bull sh*t term. And I'm sick of it. And I'm still getting fund raising tests today with MAGA in the test. So yeah, I won't vote for anyone who uses that term. You know if a republican got elected in 2028, they couldn't do shite because there are so many democrats in the senate.

One thing that seems clear and should worry people: it is much easier for Democrats to in in solid red states than for Republicans to win in solid blue states.
I mean blue states do occasionally elect Republican governors. But they almost never elect Republican Senators. Even in the enormous red wave of 2010, the only only blue state Republicans picked up in the Senate was Illinois. Contras that with Tuesday - where Democrats won South Carolina, Kansas, Ohio, Texas, Mississippi, and Alaska.
I know things change, but this fact seems fairly constant these days.

I disagree. Immigration will keep the socialist policies in power.
We had our chance, but it was going to take longer than 18 months to fix. Now it won't be.

Dude, the American people screwed themselves. It’s the endgame now. Texas registered 2 million new voters in two years, imagine how many they will register in four years under radical Democrats? There is no coming back from this politically If you voted against the Left then good on you, if you stayed home or made a protest vote then you deserve everything that happens next.

I look forward to a temporary escape by turning off politics and enjoying a weekend of football.

Don't get too high or too low about Election...

Because no matter who is in power, they'll screw it up.

Because no matter who is in power, they'll screw it up. Dems will over compensate, and not deliver what the American people really want and they'll have another 2010, 2016, 2024 - its like clockwork.
In recent decades, the scewing up part seems to be design, slowly demoralizing us enroute to the crisis phase... as Bezmenov said.
I think someone on here or on X-- can't remember who or I'd give them credit-- made an observation that it's not so much a pendulum as you're suggesting, with one side screwing up and going too far one way, then the other side going too far the other way. It's more like a ratchet: the Left swings us one way and does damage / tightens institutional control. When the Right swings back the other way, they don't undo the damage of the swing to the Left. It's a rather hollow (maybe loud, but ineffectual) swing to the right that simply sets the levers of control in a position where the Left regains power and cinches down again with more force and greater control.
Being too high or low over the results is irrelevant. Accepting the results is fine if one is content to follow where they want to lead us... a topic of many prior threads on here. Not accepting it means personal change towards greater understanding of the topics and towards being a more moral person as the founders suggested... and it will take enough people developing such a will to effect change in a meaningful way.

I believe there are millions who are tired of voting for the lesser of two evils, even in the primaries.
