The point is whether crime is high or low, the only people affected are the ones who are personally a victim of it, which is still a relatively small portion of the population in either high crime or low crime times. High prices affect literally everyone and everyone can see the high prices every single day.
To the average person who likely wont be a victim of crime either way, its hard to sell them on the idea that crime is down because it doesnt impact their day to day life anyway, unless they happen to be one of the unlucky ones.

Poverty is at a record low? 
We're supposed to believe poverty is lower now than when we were a booming manufacturing economy?
Poverty is lower now than when we were a booming tech economy before they started offshoring every tech job they could?
Poor people get more help than ever (Medicaid, Obamacare, food stamps), but only a dumbass thinks poverty is at an all time low.
If poverty was at an all time there wouldn't have been a Blue Wave.

Our gov told us Iraq had wmds and not one has been found.
So did the same groups of people tell Trump that Iran was close to Nuke?
Iran was a dumb debacle and then how we went after it once we committed was almost as bad.
Once Trump did the Israel bidding, the damage was done, go in brute force and finish them and prove you were right. The wrong answer was to pussy foot around and allow this to drag on and for us to be embarrassed because our navy couldn’t take control of what is essentially a lake.
Iran should have been attacked day 1 of new admin and finished off, that would have been so old and cold by midterms no one would care and if we did what we should prices would be on the floor and we could say we were right.

Except Iran actually had a nuclear program that Obama cut a deal with them on where they were making nukes. They had confirmed nuclear facilities.
Not everything is Iraq.
Steve Witkoff, whether you believe him or not, said the Iranians sat at the table with him and told them they had enough material to make multiple warheads when he met them to negotiate.

If you're dumb enough to believe Iran isn't trying to gain nukes, then you shouldn't be voting. No one of any substance on either side of the aisle will deny that Iran wants a nuclear weapon and has been actively working to obtain one. The disagreement is how to respond to that.

It’s not true that we can’t fix things there; it’s just very expensive to do so.
We did a lot to fix Iraq, which is a much better country today than it was when Bush-fil attacked it. And the relationships among Israel and it’s Arab neighbors is far batter today than it was. Some would say they are downright collegial.
But between that Iraq war and this Iran war, we could lose the USA to socialism. That’s a very expensive lift.
