The demand in my state is being driven by relocating Yankees it seems. The illegals don’t appear to be buying new construction homes.

Good grief, I guess I do need to explain supply and demand.

Millions of apts/rented homes go empty as illegals go home. The apt market adapts by lowering prices. People decide its cheaper to rent than get a big mortgage on a house. The housing market adjusts and starts lowering prices. The new housing market does the same.

Yes. Full stop.

Speaking of which, has ICE raided any new home construction sites? I wish they would. Heavily.

You been to an emergency room lately? Know of kids in public schools? You think their presence and its impact is limited to the construction site/the labor they do? We CANNOT stay afloat as a nation if we allow EVERYONE in to our lifeboat. It’s not feasible.

The Indians, Africans, Pakistanis, and Haitians aren’t working construction. We can deal with the Latin Americans last, and in a way that makes sense for us.

The rest of them can get back to where they came from and take their whole families with them.

Now, as a Christian, I’d go further and say that if the place we are sending them back to is truly awful (war and disease-torn or whatever), then we should invade that place and make it a colony, which we manage to our and their benefit until they can manage it themselves.

Yes.

I love it anytime I see ICE even in Colorado Springs where there's very few illegals. Deporting the more, the merrier.

Home buyers won’t pay for them. Look at all the whining now about home prices.

Great opportunity for hundreds of small builders around the country to get back to work and for large track home developers and PE asswipes to go tits up.

The homes have gotten more expensive and materials cheaper because a bunch of useless multi-millionaires and do-nothing shareholders are making money off your house.

Get rid of the deadweight and give middle class Americans more opportunity.

Did you check their statuses?

Maybe my state (SC) is the lone exception to what some of you are observing, but I have my doubts.

Maybe if 20 million illegals moved out of their homes in the states the prices would go down???

Great. So you get a couple hundred homes back on the market. Big whoop.

From your own paper

"The largest district in the county, District 11, said it has about 50 migrant children, up from eight at the start of the school year. "
