Did Trump know what he was walking into last night?

The decision to go on NBC shocked me, really for their connections to MSNBC.
But flipping back and forth between the two town halls last night was quite the experience. With Biden's, Ole George would occasionally ask a question or occasionally push on an issue, but generally, it was allowed to be a conversation between the audience and the candidate... which is how a town hall was supposed to work.
I think Trump's... there were maybe 4 questions from the audience? And any time a question was asked and Trump would even start to respond, the "moderator" would jump in and attack Trump.
What I saw on NBC last night was a 60 min, insanely pointed interview in which the "moderator" was asking most of the questions and constantly interrupting.
Look, if a reporter wants to give a tough interview, fine. But that's not in any way shape or form a town hall, which is what it was advertised to be. Especially when you compare it to what was happening at ABC.
Last night should have proven once and for all that media bias is real.

He said at his rally yesterday that he knew it was a setup and he was ready

Yes, and he can handle it. He is reaching voters what only watch those stations and showing his is not the boogieman.

How couldn't he have expected it? It's par for the course on how he's been treated by nearly all media, with few exceptions like Hannity.

There is no way he did not know.
He is one of the best in preparing for an event and knowing all the angles. He plays the long game like the expert that he is.
Being unprepared is the realm of losers on the left. It is the recipe for their impending disaster.

Trump will show up anywhere, anytime, to do an interview with anyone.

I guess I'm just surprised he agreed to it being called a town hall.
Maybe he was trying to rope a dope the reporter and show people just how awful they can be?

Meanwhile ABC had an hour of the selected democrat Fairy Tales as read fireside by Joseph Biden.

Oh yeah. He told his staff as he walked off stage it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. Guthrie really blew a lot of chances to make him sweat about other policies but she was too hung up on old news accusations like the mask and taxes shite.

Trump did really well last night. Especially with the silhouette of that attractive black woman nodding in approval behind Trump for everyone of his answers.

Oh course he knew. He is purposely doing it to expose the MSM and continue to open eyes

I loved that the Dem lady humanized Trump with the "great smile" compliment. Seems like the crowd was MAGA

The count asked him 43 questions and the audience 10. She also talked for the first 24 minutes of the show.

That is precisely what he did, and a damned excellent job of doing it, I might add.

TRUMP went into the lion's den and came across as genuine, caring, and the crowd absolutely loved him. The "town hall" also exposed the media for exactly what they are - a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party. I assure you rational people saw through it.

People keep wondering why Trump doesn't do these events with a friend moderator, but it's clear that Trump's approach is to tell Fake News to bring it.

When Little Georgie did ask a question or "interrupt," he was doing it to help Dementia Joe. He was trying to lead Groping Joe to the "correct" answer.

Trump reached a ton of people who otherwise would’ve never heard him talk.
Let’s see Biden go on Fox or BlazeTV or anywhere that isn’t hyper sanitized and washed and planned and owned by his handlers.
