I feel for you. If you’re in Louisiana, just wait until you get homeowners insurance quotes. It’s unsustainable. Everything is getting so expensive.

We’re inundated with deviance and corruption. It doesn’t feel like we’re on the right track.

Apologies if I'm confusing you with someone else, but aren't you a lefty?

All of these are government created problems.

Wait til govt starts universally subsidizing child care, rates will go through the roof.

He's probably pissed some are not supporting the US funding of Ukraine's war.

Pretty sure that's the personal goal of many people here. To be as miserable as possible at all times. If your life sucks it's probably your fault. Do better

You must not have a kid in daycare. They’re already through the roof!

My wife administers the daycare for foster kids in Alaska. Since the State of Alaska agreed to pay 100% of day care rates, the rates have risen by 50%.

When day care becomes universal and subsidized, it will be far more expnesive as it is today.

It’s already subsidized for certain kids. It’s so unreasonable for middle class families. In the last 6 months, my homeowners insurance DOUBLED and daycare increased by $100/month. So our mortgage is $200/month more now, daycare is $100 more a month, Entergy is doubling our bills despite no increase in usage, eggs are $7/dozen, etc etc. I’ll take universal daycare. Can it start yesterday?

A) the first sentence is complete hogwash. We haven’t always been a giant. Only been 75 years and only because the rest of the planet destroyed themselves in WW2.

B) Every so often prog filth drop the facade and let you see they don’t really think climate change is an existential threat.

A - no country will overtake America for a long time. America has been the largest economy in the world since the 19th century.

B - David Brooks is a conservative commentator, not a 'prog filth.'

If you're David Brooks/ The Atlantic, sure. The progressive coastal globalists are getting more or less what they want, and irreversibly transforming America. For "legacy Americans," not so much.

Lol. And Mitt Romney and Liza Cheney are staunch conservatives too, I suppose.
