It's just objectively true.

I'll put it this way: think about how the wokesters shriek about gay rights today as if gays are somehow on the precipice of a genocide. Now, go back and look at the status of gay rights in 1970 - they were being beaten in the streets and shite like that. The current shriekers have ZERO perspective on the level of advances of their supposed cause that have been made. They are left to shout in the streets about the last 1% of imperfection in their cause - a cause that has been so advanced, the people in 1970 would have never believed you.

This happens with every issue. People are snowblind to that vast advances that have become the simple water we swim in daily, and thus fall prey to minutiae that would simply have never crossed their path back in the day.
