We would be in a far better position right now if DeSantis won in 2024 instead of Trump. It isn’t even close either.

I think that's probably true. But I'm not sure he wins the election in this environment, which is a whole other obstacle we have to address post-Trump

Just find it odd those that scream loudest about AIPAC and Israel have no issues with DeSantis. He’s taken in over 1.3 million from Miriam during his campaigns. It’s almost like it’s really not an issue just something to use against Trump and other MAGA politicians. Not to mention Thomas Massie endorsed Ron during the primary so his AIPAC screaching is bs.

Several of the 2024 GOP Primary candidates were capable of beating Biden/Harris in that general election the same President Trump did.
Trump probably was the only one of the 2016 candidates who could beat back the Hillary Clinton train. As much I preferred Scott Walker or Rand Paul WAYYY over Trump, I just don’t think they could have countered the Hillary momentum and Clinton Klan the way Trump did.
But 2024…DeSantis would also have beaten the shite out of Biden/Harris.

Funny how you’ve never interacted with me until the last 24 hours and you’re coming strong at me for no reason.

Abbott will gladly sell out our state economy to a bunch of pajeets and ragheads thousands of miles away. And the best part is that he’ll pass some insignificant bill to pretend like he’s doing something when in reality he isn’t doing shite.
Him and Trump are both cut of the same cloth. They’re neo-cons who want as much business as possible and will do it any cost with zero regard to how it will affect the average American.

DeSantis is the best governor in America
Agreed. He’s one of the best governors in the country and it’s not even close. He puts his money where his mouth is.
Meanwhile, our governor is a spineless coward who has done absolute frick all to stop the invasion of Indians into North Dallas. Abbott is nothing but a populist neo-con who will gladly pimp out our state to Indians and ragheads thousands of miles away while passing retarded laws mandating the Ten Commandments be put into Texas classrooms.

But he comes off awkward in our TickTock/Idiocracy world…so no way he could ever be President. If you can’t own the libs on tweeter, you’re unqualified to be a good President.
Yep. What really matters is charisma and zingers, not actually backing up everything you say you're going to do and governing like a boss. The Democrats are deadset on destroying this country and people are still voting based on whether or not somebody is cool. It's depressing as hell

Ron DeSantis is a great administrator, but awkward as a politician. It’s unfortunate because there is a lot substance to him in governing.

Ron has been a great governor and made Florida from purple to red.
The florida state senate was 26-14 in 2016, before ron even ran as governor. 65% of the state senate is not a purple state, by any stretch.

It's much simpler on the State level than the foreign police/global level. Not to mention, Ron doesn't have his own party fighting him in his State Congress.
How this post got 5 upvotes is surprising. Tell me you don’t know the Florida legislature and just made that up.
Daniel Perez is a worthless snake as speaker. He has undermined and betrayed our governor more than once just in recent past.
1. He failed to pass the state budget which would have enacted the Florida State Guard and impeded immigration funding. Both which were requested by Ron.
2. Gov called special session for AI Bill of Rights and new school vaccine regulations. Medical freedoms. Both measures were pushed aside.
3. Another special session for immigration reforms. Perez again screwed the people. Made his own agenda and failed to pass the key provisions of the bill.
4. Property Tax is the latest one. Governor wants to get rid of them for the citizens and of course the legislature is refusing to bring it to vote.
All of these are just since 2025.
