Maybe. But Trump signed into law the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Sercurity Agency Act of 2018. Something worse that did actually become law.

The overall point is Ron was dressed up in a MAGA hat and given a crown with jewels with red carpet; When he didn't even need the crown. All while letting Mastriano, Lake, others float down river.

What does this even mean?

I swear - when I read the shite you post on this board, half the time I can't get Adam Schiff and his made-up Trump phone call out of my head.

Lawd…if you are in Congress for any period of time you’re probably going to have a vote that someone doesn’t like, that you regret, or your position evolves.

And this vote is the only thing you got on BDR? And this somehow overrides all of the amazing things he has done as a governor?

But we can excuse pretty much every choice that Trump made for his cabinet? You know, the people that dictate bureaucratic policy?

I have no problem vetting DeSantis at all but let’s not let perfect continue to be the enemy of good.

Not a good look for any conservative and hopefully he would have a good answer for doing so because all of the trade partnerships have historically been terrible for Americans.

?? Just because they hoodwinked Trump in his first term, doesn't mean we can overlook DeSantis swampy history. He's a production line DC model.

Trump knows he can't give swamp any leeway at this point. They'll sabotage him either way.

"I have no problem vetting DeSantis"

He's fricking failing right now the swamp stink test.

I don't know how adult people can suddenly "evolve" on economic issues. Trump was a hardcore protectionist since the 80s. This is not some emotional topic that pulls on heartstrings. This is foreign trade and how US economy and jobs are affected by it.

Fact remains DeSantis is built on blueprint establishment politician model and his record in Congress points exactly to that. He jazzed up his repertoire as a governor, but that's because he has no say on foreign policy issues. Not at least in any meaningful way.

One fact about TPP most here will not acknowledge because it does not fit their perception of Trump's trade war---TPP was not for the benefit of US corporation and banks doing business in China.

The biggest benefactors of Trump's trade war were, in fact, US multinational banks and corporations attempting to invest in and sell into China. Both groups invested hundreds of millions in China as a result of the Phase 1 deal. You will not find a Trump speech explaining that but you will find a small army of Goldman Sachs alumni throughout Trump administration---including Steve Bannon.

Exactly. That was part of Trump’s campaign message on trade. Reciprocity.

For too long we have been calling one way trade with China free trade. Reciprocity is real free and fair trade.
