They all forgot he was a congressman.

Sometimes I feel like the whole Florida turning red thing is a setup. Broward and Miami-Dade flipping like they did doesn't make any sense. Especially looking at the other swing states. I get a lot of people are moving to FL, but they aren't all voting GOP.

Things change. Political landscapes alter over time.

Reagan was a democrat.

Given a choice between whining about TPP or another 4 years with former VP Biden and Kamala, I'd vote for BDR. Easy.

But good on y'all if your lives are so void of struggles that you can wenge about that which hasn't come to pass, and may not ever.

I don't think he's a RINO but I am skeptical that he'll keep his foot on the pedal the way Trump would.

RINOs gameplan is to do nothing and push the uniparty trajectory while the left is making moves on all fronts. This is exactly how the immigration crisis unfolded.

We're in a freefall here with our dash screaming "pull up, pull up!". There's no time to cruise and not take drastic border, economic, and federal overhaul actions.

If it's between Biden and DeSantis, I'll have to vote DeSantis, but I don't think he should be the nominee. Not even in 2028.

People keep asking how will Trump get to 270? Heck, this TTP vote by DeSantis probably loses him the entire Rust Belt including Ohio.

The idea that Desantis has a better path than Trump is total bullshite.

The path is for Desantis to get behind Trump.

He's 43 years old. His time may come.

Republican victory is tied to Republican unity. Unity against Democrats and their ballot schemes.

The Democrat wet dream of a Trump Desantis war only makes the hill steeper for both.

Fooled me once, but we've been fooled since the 80s.

I have zero confidence in Trump that he would do a whole lot in the WH. We know the Dems will keep a perpetual investigation on him to limit any actions by him.
We've already seen how his presidency would play out. He didn't clean house the first time. Kept Comey and tried to get him to promise loyalty. That backfired. He replace Comey with the biggest swamp monster and supporter of Ruby Ridge in William Barr.

Jason Chaffetz gave a reason as to why he retired from Congress because the Trump admin didn't seem willing to let him go after the IRS targeting of conservative orgs. Now we have 87,000 new IRS agents that will be targeting.

No investigations into Hillary and figuring out what her and Obama were scheming at that time.

He didn't get rid of Obamacare but blew up the Tea Party and blew up the possiblity of getting rid of it because he wanted a replacement. He should've followed thru on his promise to get rid of it and not throw curveballs.

i know that, im messing with these uninformed idiots reacting to DU talking points

there are a lot of things democrats did to put poison pills into bills so republicans had no choice but to vote for.

anyone who sees the type of history RD has the last 6 years and thinks he is a rino or not maga is just a clown.

what else was in that bill that made him vote for it is a question none of these simpletons bother to look into. was its funding for military or some other equally important shite like that, something important enough that you hold your nose and vote yes because you have no choice?

Uhh…there’s plenty of Trump supporters who are completely ignorant about federal and state government.

So it shouldn’t be surprising that a “casual” DeSantis supporter might fall under that umbrella as well of being uninformed on something.

If this does not tell you how Governor DeSantis will govern as president nothing will.

But how Trump presided in 2020 does not tell us how he'll govern in a second term?

Weird logic.

Sounds like Trump.

Trade: free trade rhetoric as a typical GOPe hack.

Sounds like Trump in terms of results.

War: there will be more of it.

This is the one I worry about.

Anything is possible-he could have been MAGA principled, but everyone has a price.

The overall point is Ron was dressed up in a MAGA hat and given a crown with jewels with red carpet; When he didn't even need the crown. All while letting Mastriano, Lake, others float down river.

Turtle put votes for his old bag arse before the people he serves. He was so crooked with the new AK voting system that Murkowski won and had relatives profit from. Yet Ron was the King when he was going to win no matter what.

Imagine for a minute if his own party would have been behind him and not in on the plans to destroy him.

You criticize Trump like he was offered the opportunity to have any kind of a normal Presidency for even 1 day.

He made some huge mistakes but they are dwarfed by the fact that the entire DC establishment was working to undermine his administration from the day he announced to run.

I think the standard for political board is higher. Some people might not care about details, but it's clearly been mentioned before. In fact, I made a thread because someone mentioned in another thread RDS voted for TPP. Had to look it up to confirm. This sub has a lot of educated discussions and good level of political awareness.

This isn't IMDB (RIP) board or Yahoo comment section.
