In short, the people preaching that DeSantis made a mistake are the same ones who will ensure that the "mistake" has the ramification predicted. Trump's base = you. "Figure out a way" = Do what Trump's base says, which is not run. It's an impossibility to do what you're demanding. Anyway, I have no doubt you can and will destroy the chance for a conservative to win the general if your guy doesn't win. But you're not winning any accolades from me for stating the obvious while pretending you're not one of the people intent on burning it all down if "it's his turn!" doesn't pan out.

This whole ordeal is ultimately a result of trumps indiscretions and Ron pointed that out. It’s the facts of the case. Conservatives don’t have and shouldn’t have to deal with this. We can do better

Nope. It indicates DeSantis is about to enter the race. Florida's legislative session is ending soon and he will jump in afterwards. Everyone knew this, except you apparently.

So then everyone knows the decision has been made that he will run? What exactly is the purpose of this “waiting until the legislative session is over” anyway? It’s not like he’s been on site toiling day and night intensely negotiating amongst legislators. I’m not saying he hasn’t been involved at all, because I know he has. But he’s also been promoting his book and doing Presidential candidate-like events around the nation.
