As we all should be. This party has demonstrated that even when proposing something reasonable, they can’t be trusted not to continue to advance lunacy.

Iran we can deal with, China we can deal with, Putin we can deal with, the Islamists we can deal with, narco cartels we can deal with.

The modern Democrat Party is the existential threat to America

This is why union workers have moved away. The workers haven't changed. The Dem party has changed.

They are a demonic group, for sure. They have been becoming increasingly more bold with their persecution of their enemies in recent years, and I expect them to do everything in their power to win and to keep power, including seeking to destroy their political and ideological enemies.

They've proven time and again that simply disagreeing with them may be hazardous to your health.

You know there was a time when statements like the ones in this thread were considered outrageous and exxagerated. Sadly, that is no longer the case.

Yes we should.

It seems a shite ton of Democratic Socialists are on some form of mental health meds or they should be.

Yes. Union workers and blacks were a shoe-in vote for Democrats just 15 years ago. It was something Dems relied on and assumed would continue forever. They have nothing to offer except misery.

He is afraid in the same way that Dr Frankenstein was afraid of what he created. Suddenly it comes to life and regret sets in

The democratic party has been hijacked. It is simply following a model that had worked for so long but will now be slammed by the new media and tech used to expose the hijackers.

Dershowitz dropping out of the democratic party is huge.

Unfortunately, it's going to take an actual "Authoritarian-Right" regime to wrest control of the nation and push for extremist-Right policies and ideologies in order for the Overton Window to shift back more to the middle.

The problem is that the Right, for the better part of 30 years, has only played controlled opposition and actually helped the Radical-Left advance their agenda albeit more slowly. That "middle" cannot shift so long as the Congressional GOPe is basically an unholy amalgamation of 90s Clinton Democrats.

I'm glad Dershowitz has formally come around, but I'm willing to bet he still won't be on board with the fact that the Right is going to have to become actually draconian in order for the people to put them in their place and actually bring the US back to a middle-ground of traditional normalcy.

For the record, I do not want an Authoritarian-Right regime in America. I know how bad that would/will be, and wish instead that we could just find another way to force a reset of the middle. But I'm not naive. I know based upon my knowledge of history, that this is what needs to happen, as uncomfortable as it will be.

Definitely not the Dem Party I grew up familiar with most of my life.

I guess that’s what happens when the fringe radical elements the Democratic Party welcomed under their “big tent” recognized that as the proverbial foot in the door needed to eventually take over.

But nowadays, what national Democratic figure can even be considered reasonably “moderate”?

Fetterman? Whoever it may include, the list isn’t even remotely a long one.
