The issue with these posts is that it assumes all of these happen to be illegal immigrants. It never reflects the fact that many of these people are already here is the US (as in, people who are born American and live here).

I wanted a solution to the immigration crisis as well. But here's the difference between us: I don't have to resort name-calling or other bad rhetoric just to get my point across.


You dont need to be toxic about Illegal immigration. It's illegal, it needs to stopped, end of story. The fact that you feel the need to have a "holier than thou" edge to it only highlights your bigotry.

You don't even acknowledge that the citizens of your own nation are just as uneducated as some of these immigrants. Outside of being American, certain people are just as bad as the illegal immigrants.

My bigger concern is that we have businesses willing to break the law to hire these people. Yet none of places ever get punished. Isnt that strange.

Also, even if we manage to seal the Southern border off, has it ever occurred to you that the the largest influx of immigrants actually come in legally. If we don't create some immigration LEGISLATION then nothing matters. All it would take is a Democratic President to either sabotage the wall or influencing less restrictive immigration procedures.

To be fair we all pay sales taxes. Not saying they pay their share of taxes, they don't.

I think raising sales taxes on non-essentials and eliminating income tax for people making 50K or less may be a good idea.

What are you suggesting?

My suggestion is to stop the importation of migrant hoards with no appreciable skill, champion work fare as opposed to welfare, and cut everyone’s taxes to only let the federal government pay for duties enumerated in the constitution, giving power back to the states. Onus must be placed on individual responsibility and freedom.

A nasty element of illegal immigration is those involved are skipping line in front of, slowing and encumbering LEGAL immigration. Legal immigrants are people just like illegals are people. Legal applicants for legal immigration are every bit as good, deserving, and desirable as illegals. Perhaps, just perhaps, even more so!

Another nasty element is, by its very nature, illegality forces migrants to deal with very evil cartels. That translates to extortion, rape, trafficking, and further enablement of drug transport. But migrants are deliberately drawn into those risks by outdated, highly counterproductive US immigration laws combined with the allure of US wealth. Dems know that. CofC Repubs know that. Neither care.

Still another is we have no clue who actually is accessing our country. That is problematic.

The problem is that the majority of people dont have the funds to move.

The other issue is the quality of live of the Average American versus that of the countries your moving to. In general, most countries (even some Western ones) have a lower quality of life for the average citizen. That's one of the reasons they can keep taxes so low. The countries that dont have much to trade often rely on tourism as well.

You earned your wealth in the US and now you feel that your above paying taxes. Every country does something we dont like.

Well guess what? I'm going to stay in America. And I don't mind paying taxes because the USA is the greatest country on Earth. We need reforms, but even on our worse day we are better than all of the countries you escape to.

We can start as someone suggested by making the tax code fixed so that you can never receive a refund. At best you just break even. Nobody should be profiting off the tax system.

Also, the disability system needs a TOTAL OVERHAUL in the US. We have way too many people "disabled".

You do realize we are one of the lowest taxed nations in the world right? As high as our taxes are, we are still lower than most of the world, considering most of the world is very socialist in nature. It's why, we conservatives, fight against more taxes. So we don't turn into these lower standard countries. More taxes does not equal better quality of life.

Agreed. Though are ideas of reforms are drastically different.

why would you go to a country that where you can be extradited. Move to Morocco, Maldives, Vietnam, madagascar, mauritania, montenegro, or Samoa. I guess you could go to Morocco for a while get a clean passport and then take a boat to spain.
