Can you imagine going to work every day looking to destroy people's lives? Talk about an evil, rotten soul.

And they are not doing it for the good of the voters, they are doing for the good of themselves.

This will work but we'll get 'em next time! Just have to keep voting and giving money to the GOP!

If there is a true disqualification, then they should be disqualified. But this to me sounds like vapor. It won't happen and will disappear quickly.

This is the "Dominion voting machines" of the left - an attempt to do fund raising from the stupid fever swamps.

This sounds like an attack on our democracy.

They tried this to a Jim Banks in Indiana as well. He is in an overwhelming GOP district and the Democrat has a miniscule chance of winning. The Indiana state election commission unanimously rejected that challenge on Friday though.

Can you give us the benchmark more “true disqualification”?

It is most certainly an attack on our democracy - and our republic

They are taking away all peaceable means for people to choose their government. Eventually people will resort to other means. It won't go well for them.

Everyone knows you would fully support banning all these individuals from running simply for being Republican.

Stop playing coy.

They will file suit right before the election with favorable judges that will rule candidate ineligible. It will be appealed but the higher courts will punt because they won’t want to overturn the election

It's such a ridiculous argument too. Section 3 of the 14th amendment states (emphasis added)

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

The Amnesty Act of 1872, as referenced by Cawthorne, was passed by 2/3rds of each House and signed into law. It completely negates any Section 3 restriction on anyone except those in the 36th and 37th Congresses. It's a joke.

Leave it to a Ms guy to have enough common sense to understand what they ARE going to attempt.

Showing an ID = voter suppression
Bureaucrats dictating who can run for office = perfectly OK.

Leftists don't give two ishts about the right to vote.

As usual, Ronna Mittens isn't doing squat for the GOP.

You fight fire with fire, not sparklers.
