This is actually worse. It covers nearly every account in the country.

So everybody in the country. Do they think we are stupid or do they just do not care?

The article at the CTH is true. Turtle & Pelosi are on their way out because Biden is the bagman fall guy; and they are going to help create full blown communism before the great reset takes off after a depression.

Who the frick has less than $10K flow through their accounts in a year? Even amateur welfare queens have better cash flow.

I really think these rules are trying to catch the contractors that are paid in cash.

That might be their excuse, but the goal is to track everyone. If you buy Bitcoin, they want to tax you. If you buy ammo or long-term storage food, they want to put you on a watchlist. If you donate to an American First politician, they want to harass you. If you own a small business, they want to make it difficult for you to do business. If you are a local or regional bank, they want to make it too expensive for you to operate.

This is all about forcing us peasants to be under their thumb and reliant on them for our existence.

This is just a way of changing the reporting while the story remains the same. I thought currently it's transactions over 10k. Now it's annual movement of more than 10k?

That would be almost everyone.

So still everyone who receives so much as a part time paycheck. What a scale back.

If Dems are so worried about auditing and taxing the 1%….. why are they worried about such small deposits?

Dems?

Oh for frick's sake. There are not rich people that do this on a monthly basis.

Runs counter to the whole "you're golden if you make under $400k a year"

That was their goal all along. Let everyone expend their energy fighting the $600 and get to where they want anyway.

I don't care if they make it a million dollars it still violates one's privacy. They need to concentrate on the cheaters and there are ways to do that other than carpet bombing the whole damn place.

Where is the link to this stupidity? First, if I recall correctly, it was originally any transaction of $600 or more, not $600 a month.

If the new criteria is any transaction of $10,000 or more, then that is significantly different, but still none of the government's business unless they have a warrant.

How about just leave it all alone? 10k doesn’t cut out many accounts. If you make minimum wage 40 hours a week you have over 10k in annual deposits. If they were truly going after “wealthy tax cheats (they aren’t, they want everybody) they’d set it at like 500k

$10,000 a year WOW I barely squeaked under.

I am going to have to give back 2021 my raise though.
