Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema announced she will vote against a $15 minimum wage if it's included in the COVID relief plan, effectively killing Democrats hopes of passing the controversial measure with a simple majority vote.
'What's important is whether or not it's directly related to short-term Covid relief. And if it's not, then I am not going to support it in this legislation,' Sinema told Politico in an interview. 'The minimum wage provision is not appropriate for the reconciliation process. It is not a budget item. And it shouldn't be in there.'
Democrats hoped to pass the measure as part of President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan, which would allow them to get it through the Senate via reconciliation - a process that lets them avoid a GOP filibuster.

They all know this. Now nobody gets any stimulus. This is likely for the best. I was gonna pay off my car with it but I’ll gladly wait a little longer to not pump trillions more into the economy overnight. We need to open up. It’s the best stimulus.

Great let’s open it all up so people can make a decent wage and those making minimum wage can earn the skills necessary to increase their wage

She's actually pretty centrist from everything I can tell. She was the only Dem applauding some of Trump's plans at his SOTU speeches.

I'm still not sure I see her voting against every single D Senator and the VP no matter what she says in the media....I won't believe it until the vote is recorded....we have heard this kind of shite in the past. Hell we heard it on Obamacare and they all lined up to say "Yea" in the end.

I learned the hard way years ago. They are all dirty AF. It is why I still don't even trust DeSantis to be anything but a good Governor. He could be a Bushy turncoat. I trust all in the HF Caucus, Devin Nunes, and Rand Paul. That's it.

The Chicoms don't want this one. The inflation it would cause weakens and devalues the dollar. Their economic power is based in a strong dollar. That is one of the reasons Trump wanted the FED to keep interest rates low and continue quantitative easing.

The dem plans are to send out stimulus by March 14th. They are pleasing the CCP & AOC by saying they tried the minimum wage @ 15 dollars.
Minimum wage @ 15 an hour, would crash us so badly. So, they are holding off to completely destroy us. They need a big gun false flag to take our guns first. Then the great reset, green new deal- of global communism.
