My daughter is a fourth year med school student. She just finished getting invitations for interviews for residency matching. She scored in the 99th percentile on her step two test and was to the extreme right of the bell curve for most all of her med school classes. The step 2 score is the primary screening criteria for residency interviews. She got some of the interviews she wanted but an Hispanic female that my daughter is friends with in her class got way more for the exact programs my daughter applied for. My daughter went to the University of Texas. I got mad and cursed DEI but my daughter got mad at me for even suggesting that. Kids are taught to just accept it. It’s amazing how white kids are taught and believe that prejudice against them is not wrong. DEI has no place in picking who becomes a doctor.

My daughter made 30 points higher on her step 2 and much better grades vs Hispanic friend.

Im sure this played no role in your daughter’s response. She definitely wasn’t defending her friend, shes def just brainwashed.

How is a Hispanic getting more interviews inherent evidence of DEI?

Are you afraid of your daughter competing against diverse groups of people or something?

Dumber minority students get in over more qualified students.

In turn, everyone disrespects the professional they became because they only advanced because of lowering the bar.

My granddaughter is part hispanic. I had this conversation with her, shes elite academically.

She would rather rise on her own merit.

Not only is it determining who will become a doctor. It determines who teaches at medical schools. Express one wrong opinion and you're fired.

This is their plan. Start them young & then condition them to accept it.

Competing in an actual meritocracy?

I don't think he is the least bit afraid.

I hear you, but women are emotional in their friendships. Logic has no power there.

To her, thats her friend shes happy for. Not a DEI victim.

Democrats hate merit. It means they are left out of most of the productive parts of society.

OK. That makes no sense, unless something else besides DEI is at play. A 30 point delta is a chasm on that test.

The quality of care goes way down because dumber kids are becoming doctors. Their intelligence is a secondary attribute. Their minority level is primary.
C on Z is too stupid to understand this.
