Oh, I heard it. That’s why this seemingly strongly worded response is so easy to see through. It is intentionally worded very deceptively to make it appear that strong action was taken, when in reality, I bet this president is telling the dean and faculty people that he give them a slap on the wrist publicly and reinstate them later.

Give me a break. The University acted swiftly and decisively to remove the employees involved, while framing it vaguely enough to shield the University (and by default, Texas taxpayers) from litigation and unwanted controversy.
This is a huge win and acting like any other school or business would have made a move like this is fairly delusional.
