De Blasio’s Budget Cuts $1B From Police, AOC Says It’s Not Enough & Demands Full Defunding

De Blasio has submitted his budget to the city council and it proposes cutting $1B from the NYPD’s $6B. About $480M is from moving school officers from the police Dept to education Dept, rest is from cutting staff and officers, hiring cuts, closing precincts and cutting new precincts, etc.

Welp, it looks like I'll be avoiding the city for awhile. I see no purpose for this stupidity other than it is being done to create chaos and anarchy ahead of the November election.
