What would you do then? Start over again?

What’s crazy is everyone of them saying this crap are Millionaires
Posted on 6/27/19 at 10:44 am to Walkerdog14
They’re millionaires who are party to writing the rules.
The millionaire next door isn’t. And those are the ones that these elitist jackasses are after.

eh, in my personal experience it's probably pretty close to 50/50. I work in an entrepreneurial setting, and those millionaires certainly meet this criteria.
And then I know a lot of snobby rich kids, who have done absolutely nothing with their lives.

So what?
I was simply adding some context to the previous post. It's simply not true that most wealthy people are innovative. The majority of the wealth in this country is inherited.

Congrats on a compelling example of tax fraud. What’s the point?
Just an example of an extremely wealthy person I know being innovative, I guess.

The United States of America has been the most upwardly mobile country in this history of the modern world. Why do you pretend otherwise?

I agree
but my statement is still true

Only 21% of millionaires received any inheritance, per one study of 10,000 millionaires. 16% of them inherited over $100,000. Only 3% inherited over a million.

I'm personally referring to income tax. But I'm also no accountant nor economist.
The biggest complaint from the left is that they say rich people hoard money and it doesn't go into the economy. So, without a wealth tax, there's no way for then to get that evil stockpiled cash.

Someone cheating on their taxes isn’t a story of anything but someone cheating on their taxes.

Let's say your personal experience is true, what's the poor people percentage?
90% irresponsible and pretty much worthless? Less, more?

I'd be curious to read this study. I've seen other studies that have showed this figure to be anywhere between 1/3 to half.

Take from the person who made good choices and give it to the person who made bad choices to re-level the playing field.

Don't forget to factor in that most people who inherit wealth that puts them in the top 1% of net worth are the most economical mobile group in the country. They are mobile downwards. The rich getting richer is just an easily debunked media narrative. The middle class is getting richer and the poor are also getting richer. 1%ers aren't the same people every year so that groups constantly changing.

Most of you who think that they are lazy or didn't work hard enough to make it are usually people who are born into privilege, either being born white or into other advantages that not all people are born into. I was born in the poorest state with one of the worst economies in the country. Can I get reparations? Everyone has good things and bad things going for them. Stop being a pussy and make something for yourself.

sources you'd likely cast aside as fake news
I'll be the first to say there are numerous studies that show large % swings. Unfortunately, a few of them involve said wealthy people just answering the question if they are self made or inherited.
