His death is due to him resisting arrest

Correct

quote:

This is not an executable offense.

Also correct. Ain’t bringing his dumbass back though and as long as people like you keep pretending that it’s not THE MAIN issue in these things, nothing will change

Then that is the reason he was shot and there is really no other reason that matters... he is responsible for his actions and his actions resulted in his death...

Not correct.

The struggle was due to him resisting arrest.

His death was due to a cop not knowing the difference between a Glock and a fricking taser.

If he doesn’t flee, odds are much higher that he would be alive. Fact.

Compliance typically doesn’t get you killed in these scenarios. The kid will be sainted by the media in their reporting instead of pointing out a simple fact.

The officer shouldn’t have shot him and she will be punished. Those are also facts, but there is a fundamental reason that set a chain of events in motion where she grabs her taser instead of her gun.

Or, orrrrr...the taser fails, as they often do, he has a weapon which he gets his hands on & turns around and pops the officer in the dome. What about that hypothetical?

Yeah, and I cut my finger with a knife because they made it too sharp. frick outta here.

And they all scream “cops aren’t trained well enough” but still fight. They think “this cop WANTS to kill me” and still fight 3 of them.

Anyone that looks at the video and claims it had anything to do with race and anything more than an accident, is a moron.

Is it a tragedy? Maybe, but are the streets undeniably safer with him off of them? Yep

This is where the disconnect is and where we disagree. Resisting arrest by itself does not warrant deadly force, nor was deadly force meant to be used in this particular case. His actions led to his death, to be sure, but the gun used to kill him was not fired by itself. It required a triggerman and that triggerman was a cop who should be arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Hey, you can justify this wrongful death however you want.

Some of you need very little to justify the wrongful death of a person.

Courts have some moral liability for not enforcing the laws. When there are no consequences, why change behavior? They enabled this to escalate.

If you believe “they want to kill me” and/or they aren’t trained, wouldn’t you show up for your court date? Not drive a car with expired tags? Not fight 3 armed officers?

LMAO... you admitted this guy contributed significantly to his own death... his death is a direct result of his actions and the choices that he made to resist and reenter the car...

Some of you like to excuse the actions of a know criminal in order to pound on cops...

Normal people know it's one less criminal out there and that's a good thing.

I agree. The cop should suffer the consequences. She doesn't get to just say "oopsie" after wrongfully killing someone. Race has nothing to do with it.

When will society condemn the culture that leads idiots like this thug to resisting arrrest?

This is the true issue. All these “incidents” have nothing to do with the color of an individuals skin. It has everything to do with not complying with lawful orders!
