Creepy Uncle Joe is not going to make it: Only day 4-5 and he sounds old and confused

Daily Mail
Article is about Creepy Joe claiming China is not a threat to the US economy.
Watch the embedded video of him making this statement. It is striking in that he looks old, sounds old, struggles over his points, and generally lacks the energy to be in a trail for another year and a half.
Seriously, I don’t think he can compete. He’s already prone to saying moronic things, but couple that with a brutally necessary campaign schedule, his advanced age, and it’s evdient he won’t make it through the primary.

'China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man,' Biden said at an event on his first swing through Iowa. 'I mean, you know, they're not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They're not a — they're not competition for us.'

I agree, when you consider how long the process is. Hope he survives a while tho

Yep, imagine how much worse he'll sound in two years and a lot more stress/higher activity level.
Honestly Bernie sounds less senile than Joe...

He sounded lost in that whole speech.

Totally agree.
This field of democrats is really bad. I disliked Obama as much as anyone, but he was 10x the candidate as any of these currently.
They don't have anyone close to his level in the bullpen.

You're right.

I agree with thread premise based on hearing one tidbit on tv.
The CNN poll with him leading excluded all people under 50.

Trump won last time because he outlasted and out-hustled old decrepit Hillary. I hope they nominate Creepy Uncle Joe.

I hadn't thought of it, but this is so very accurate.
I still carry the worry of an Obama type candidate coming along, when in reality there is nothing even close to that on the D side.
Biden is absolutely awful now. Just wait until he's been on the road for a few months , and then has to face a primed and ready Donald Trump in full Trump attack mode It would be a bloodbath

I’ve been saying a form of this for years.
Their bench got absolutely destroyed on the national level in 1994 and 2010, so they lost two whole generations of bench talent in addition to getting wiped out at the state and local levels in 2010.
Combine that with a number of their hopefuls like Weiner flaming out due to other issues and they don’t have a very deep bench.
This is the best and brightest the Dems have to offer. Think about that and either laugh or cry.

A little TBT
Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., declaring that his candidacy had been overwhelmed by ''the exaggerated shadow'' of his mistakes, dropped out of the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination today.
''I made some mistakes,'' said Mr. Biden, who has faced 10 days of news reports on his lifting of sections from the speeches of others and on his record in college and law school.
Mr. Biden's troubles began with the revelation in The New York Times and The Des Moines Register that he had used, without attribution, long portions of a moving address by the British Labor Party leader, Neil Kinnock. Later, it emerged that he had also used passages from the speeches of Robert F. Kennedy and Hubert H. Humphrey.
Then, it was revealed that Mr. Biden had been disciplined as a first-year law student for using portions of a law review article in a paper without proper attribution. Mr. Biden tried to put the charges behind him by admitting to mistakes at a news conference, but he was hit again by a Newsweek magazine report on a videotape of an appearance in New Hampshire in which he misstated several facts about his academic career.

We're very lucky they were so fast to push Obama into the spotlight, because if they'd have put all of their resources behind Hillary and THEN followed it up with Obama, we'd be completely screwed...

This was a bad moment.
The same people screaming about Russia are going to say China isn't a threat?
Holy shite.......Russian threat isn't a pimple on a bugs arse compared to China.
Russia is a fake power that is more of a nuisance.
China is not our friend in any way shape or form.

Hmmm, but the media said it was one of the most stirring speeches ever. A home run.
