Yes. It would be painful, but necessary. You can’t allow the possibility that he kills again.

The coward was probably still living at home. Dad saved his house from getting tear gassed.

Yes. But I wouldn't raise a shite stain of a person

Yes, but just the contemplation of such a scenario twists my guts into knots. I would do it because it's the right thing and as others have said it's better than him being hunted down like a dog, but it would go against every natural intinct to protect him
It would break my heart because of my love for him. Those of you saying you'd do it easily or wish you had pulled out years ago, either you have no kids or you're just someone I'll never understand.

I think you have to, besides being the right thing to do, the risk of the crazy fricker continuing the madness and killing his own family is too big.

100%, would be the hardest thing in the world to do and I would feel like I had failed at everything that mattered.
I honestly feel for his father and applaud him for doing something so difficult. Lots of reflection going on in that household.
This is where I'm at. I love my kids more than life itself and I would be devastated if I had to make this decision. I would try to talk him into turning himself in and beg for mercy on the court to save his life and if that didn't work I'd turn him in
One thing that would haunt me as a parent till the day I died is how I missed him becoming this monster. Were there signs I missed?

Could You Turn Your Kid In If He/She Committed A Crime Like The Kirk Shooting?

You do it to save your kid's life and ensure a non violent arrest

Wouldn't have to, I raised my kids the right way.

Well for one you don’t turn his POs arse in you instantly become as accessory.

If I didn't shoot him first

After I beat his or her arse to a pulp, you are damn straight I would turn them in...

Because you are effectively handing your son over to be executed. Don’t get me wrong, the father did the right thing. But it would be a hard thing to do.
