There are different types of socialism. Some people consider all government aid programs socialistic. I was talking more about countries that officially define their country and government as socialist.

I think it has more to do with the battles the left has won with two or three generations of kids while the republicans got fat off the corporate world that is now financially backing the realization of this "reset".

Too many didn't care what public schools, Disney, Nickelodeon and social media were feeding their kids while keeping them "entertained". Now we're reaping the harvest.

I was thinking more of the kind of socialism where government takes over private industries and businesses

That’s why you can’t do welfare and have open borders.

The trend will continue until there are way more looters than producers in this country.

This Gen Xer can't understand why Boomers and Millennials are at each other's throats when the generations are so damn similar.

Those college kids in the late 60s that were pushing this same bullshite that we're dealing with now were Baby Boomers. The same goes for the clown leadership like The Chicago 8, Weather Underground, Black Panthers, etc...all Booomer bullshite.

Well that’s what they want.

As of rt now anyone can own a business and share the profit as they see fit. Co ops on a smaller scale work. Hell small family businesses operate this way.

But they want everything to be public. in the end it never works. The more intelligent people will still hoard the best shite and come up with an excuse on why they need it over you. Plus I just don’t see someone like bill gates throwing all is money into the proverbial public pot for everyone to share.

Millennials want it and boomers are getting too old and are running out of steam trying to stop it

Boomers are the ones who sent all these jobs overseas the past 30 years because it was an easy way to cut costs. Boomers didn't think far enough ahead that they were actually cutting this country's throat.

Congrats on that raise the boss gave you for putting 20,000 Americans out of work just to put 100,000 Chinamen to work.

Yeah that’s what us socialists do, we have support from all the major businesses, their lobbies and media outlets. All the universities have been influenced to just teach Marxist economics they don’t even bother with Keynesian economics anymore. If we add just one more social program I think that will tip us to being a full blown Socialist country, we should probably drop social security just to safe IMO.

Half the voting population in this country have openly embraced marxist/socialist policy and candidates. I don't think any amount of hardship would convince 30-40% on the other side.

I'm pretty far on the libertarian side, but what do you expect people to do when costs have far, far outstripped wages for housing, college, and other things.

Due to crony capitalism and other stupid things, the American Dream is slipping farther and farther away for people under the age of 40. I finally get to the point where I'm making six digits and I can't buy a house in a nice area in my current location. That's insane.

Big Tech, Disney, and other gigantic companies are acting as defacto government organizations. At some point we have to admit that when a large company has the backing of the US Government, it will go woke but not broke.

think the plan is to make everything so terrible that people want to start over and scrap the constitution. That’s what the globalists want. They hate our protections

Yup they slowly implement their big govt policies. Everything goes to shite. They’ll blame it on the constitution after they convince us over time this is the America the constitution created, and needs a do over.

Reality is even today we are no where near what the founders intended. If we strictly followed the constitution we would be much better off. This isn’t the America the founders envisioned

I gotta hand it to you. For someone who so repeatedly steps on his dick here, is ALWAYS wrong about an issue, and makes an utter fool of himself with every post, you just don't give up do you?

I used to think it was just that you were too stupid to know how embarrassing you are. Now I'm starting to wonder if it goes deeper than that. Maybe you like looking foolish. Are you a S&M freak?

Wore down? Maybe. What's more likely is the economic conditions get so bad tens of millions of Americans who currently are not dependent upon the federal government will become dependent on the federal government. My concern is the mental illness of the progressive lunatics continues to infest the minds of otherwise mentally stable Americans......it's pretty scary how many sane and rational people are being affected by the insanity of the left.
