How do you figure? AB sponsors an event = they pay money for advertising. People attend said event but refuse to buy AB products. Doesn’t that hurt AB more because they paid to sponsor but don’t recognize a return on that investment with increased sales?

In 6 months shite will be back to normal. The attempt will be futile.
BL is the top selling beer by a large margin. If the boycott holds up AB would definitely feel it. It would be like Ford having a massive boycott of F-150’s. Ford makes other vehicles that people would still buy, but sustaining big losses to their top seller would hurt the bottom line.
The difference between this boycott and others is that the market for macro-light beer is pretty large and BL isn’t a tremendously unique product. Many people could change light beers without issue.
Summer is light beer drinking weather. We’ll know in the next few months if this boycott has teeth…or just a quick fad

Bud Light is cancelled!

I wonder when some of this stock will reach the limit of their corporate sell by/expiration date?
I certainly don't think A-B is going out of business but I hope this will be a lesson to all woke corporations.
Their brand may recover over time but the recent lost sales are gone forever. IE, nobody who decided not to buy B-L is going to buy more later to make up for the lost sales in the past. And, many buyers who get used to another brand may be gone forever.
