LONDON, July 19 (Reuters) - Britain's Chief Scientific Adviser Patrick Vallance said on Monday that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 have had two doses of vaccine.
"In terms of the number of people in hospital who've been double vaccinated, we know it's around 60% of the people being admitted to hospital with COVID," Vallance said.

LONDON, July 19 (Reuters) - Britain's Chief Scientific Adviser Patrick Vallance said that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 are unvaccinated, correcting an earlier statement he made on Monday.
Vallance earlier said at a news conference with Prime Minister Boris Johnson that 60% of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 have had two doses of vaccine.
"Correcting a statistic I gave at the press conference," Vallance said on Twitter. "About 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are not from double vaccinated people, rather 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are currently from unvaccinated people."

So its worse to be vaccinated, this was theorized involving variants, immune system is looking for the wrong virus. If it mutates again the wrong way being vaccinated could be really bad.

Europe is actually mixing their covid shots. A lot of people with Astra Zeneca shots and an mRNA booster.

This isn't true. Data shows being vaccinated is still better than not at all.

This isn’t a good data point for the vaccine.
At all.

Link? Interesting footnote, if so.

Semantics, but “double vaccinated” implies being fully vaccinated twice (4 total shots). These people got one vaccination in 2 parts, right?
Oh also, if the vaccine doesn’t work against COVID then what exactly does it do?

I saw it on reddit. Canada is doing the same thing. You can even get a pfizer first shot and Moderna 2nd shot.
Technically people who got the J&J can get the mRNA booster, as it uses the same tech as the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Some even have suggested mixing vaccines gives you an even better immune response.

Faced with short supplies of COVID-19 vaccines and unforeseen side effects, some countries have adopted an unproven strategy: switching shots midstream. Most authorized vaccines require two doses administered weeks or months apart, but Canada and several European countries are now recommending a different vaccine for the second dose in some patients. Early data suggest the approach, born of necessity, may actually be beneficial.
quote:
In three recent studies, researchers have found that following one dose of the vaccine made by AstraZeneca with a dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine produces strong immune responses, as measured by blood tests. Two of the studies even suggest the mixed vaccine response will be at least as protective as two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech product, one of the most effective COVID-19 vaccines.
quote:
Europe and Canada have an added incentive. Millions of people there received an initial dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine before governments recommended younger age groups avoid it because of the risk of a rare clotting disorder. They were left wondering what to do next: Get a second dose or switch to a different vaccine?
quote:
Still, the findings support recent policy changes. Spain has authorized the mixing of the two vaccines for people under age 60. Other countries that have put age limits on the AstraZeneca vaccine, including Canada, Germany, France, Norway, and Denmark, have made similar recommendations.

The proper course of action that almost all leaders have failed is to let Covid runs it’s course.

The UK is at 53% fully vaccinated. With no other data you would be right to assume vaccination makes one more vulnerable since 60% of those infected have been fully vaccinated. However, we do have more data.
The people who are most vulnerable make up a disproportionate amount of the vaccinated cohort. Children make up over half of the unvaccinated cohort, and children are least affected by China Virus.
The data is very clear that:
1. Being vaccinated lowers the chance of getting infected.
2. Being vaccinated lowers the chances of harsh symptoms if you are infected.
3. You are an idiot who should be the ward of someone more capable.

They are using a second rate vaccine.

“The emperor has no clothes.”
No matter how much you want to dance, 60% of Covid admissions being vaccinated is not a good data point for all you true believers.

Yeah, how the hell does that even happen?
I can see people possibly catching it after being vaxed, but winding up in the hospital?
Lefties always have a talking point, and when that one stops working they just move onto the next one.
If they didn't constantly lie, I might trust them a little.

Two jabs? Lol, don't they realize you need constant jabs to meet the moving goals?

And markets are tanking around the world as a result. Investors are screaming to the sky and literally renting their garments.
A sense of hopelessness is setting in...
